Spell Candles Transfer text from tissue paper to a candle using wax paper and your hair dryer. You can print something too by taping the tissue to some card stock before sending through your printer. Use color tissue for color candles. You get the idea. Endless possibilities! Good tutorial here: http://www.theshabbycreekcottage.com/2011/10/day-5-easy-print-candles.html
(Note: candle will drip more than usual, so use a safety plate, or something, underneath the holder.)
Baby Kitchen Witch Tip 🌙🔮🌿
Coffee is a great source of a caffeine in the morning but it also holds special magical qualities; such as encouraging hard work, removing mental blocks and infusing intentions with stamina.
Have a cup on a day when you need an extra push or to help remove a mental block.
Bonus points for adding some flavors to add even more magic. Cinnamon (spiritual power), Hazelnut (fertility), Vanilla (calm), to name a few.
HEY I was wondering why I suddenly liked Hazelnut coffee after not really being into it for most of my life. This makes sense to see!
❄️Discreet witchy things to do during winter ❄️
🌨️ Create freezed potions: set some herbs and spices in an ice tray, and add them to your water or natural juice.
☃️ Take care of a moss terrarium or an ivy. You can put some chrystals on the soil as “decoration”
🌬️ Go for a walk outside. Feel the cold temperature in your face and let it “clean” yourself. Be properly wrapped so you don’t get a bad cold! Watch the changes in your environment. Are the leaves gone? Is it snowing? Is it something different?
❄️ Learn something new. As the weather is getting worse, get cozy at home and use your phone/tablet/computer to know about anything: mythology, correspondences, simple spells…
☃️ Draw a sigil in your morning tea/coffee before taking it to prevent colds.
🌬️ Meditate for 10 minutes everyday before sleep.
🌨️ Buy a generous amount of incense/candles and say it was a secret-santa gift.
Here’s my “warmth” sigil to rein in the spring. For both physical and emotional warmth 💜
interview today!
I’m lighting my sacred candle and offering some rose-scented salts to Aphrodite for her support today.
Everything I do, from cleansing, to dressing, to driving, will be done with the intention that I am presenting to my interviewer what he wants to see. He will look at me, and no matter what is present in the physical reality, in the planes of magic and the otherworldly, I am already his best candidate.
Blessed Be to you and yours. May your day function with blessings and constant, positive intent, too!
get in loser we’re gonna admire moss and mushrooms in the forest
Saturday : Dionysus
So fun fact: I spell it as “magic” and not “magick” because the latter spelling was popularized by Aleister Crowley who was an anti-Semitic, misogynistic, racist Nazi sympathizer. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
All of this plus the fact that the distinction just isn’t needed! Nobody is getting confused thinking you’re talking about stage magic any more than a doctor saying you need a cast means you’re going to hire some actors. Besides, the k really just feels self-aggrandizing and “I’m so different,” at least to me.
So yeah, I’m fine leaving “magick” in the past. It’s not relevant or needed and has a nasty background.

🔮📖 Student Witch Tips 📖🔮
Because time's a bollix and your best is all you can do sometimes.
If you're commuting back and forth to college, draw a protection/happiness/whatever sigil in the air with your finger as you get off to send good vibes to the bus/train/etc driver and other passengers as a good intention to start/end the day (also public transport drivers sure as hell need the good vibes)
For all you conspiracy theorist witches, draw protection/time management/creativity/etc sigils on the piece of paper you use to put over your laptop camera to stop the government spying on you.
Not my tip and can't remember what Instagram account I saw this on! Put sigils on the bottom of your shoes too, to energise and all craic.
Digital altars are a thing, so you can have an altar safe and sound on you at all times in your laptop
If you prefer a physical altar though, like me, and you wear a pentagram necklace, it can act as a portable, minimalist altar you can literally use anywhere (carry 3 LED tealight candles to put around it for that extra oomph)
If you're living away from home in a flat with other people who may not take too kindly to your casual heresy, a minimalist altar is a lifesaver. Use the necklace tip, a shoe box or a small sports bag as I do, whatever will do to store your altar safely and subtly.
Use LED tealights, again, to keep your craft on the down low. Fire and incense tend to attract attention so you might want to tone it down.
Meditation can act as both a disguise for rituals or substitute.
Unsuprsingly, crystals are inconspicuous as fuck plus everyone likes pretty rocks :)
Grow your own herbs (especially rosemary) to save money and the environment, most supermarkets sell herb plants in the fresh fruit and veg aisle.
There's no need to spend a ton of money on altar supplies, most of mine were found in charity shops and euro shops. If you search, I guarantee you will find everything from pretty bowls and dishes to Oracle and tarot cards.
Also always check second hand book shops for a "New Age"/Religion section, I've found several Wiccan and palm reading books in old bookshops priced for nothing after just buying them in regular bookshops for 3x the price.
Local libraries may also have Wiccan books available!
That's all I got at the minute, if I come up with more I'll do a pt 2 :)
bad case of brain weasels occurred last night. I was all mopey for no discernable reason and just felt so empty. so you know what we did today?
CLEANED AND SAGED, FRIENDS, CLEANED AND SAGED
I went balls to the walls with tidying and organizing, and once finished, saged my entire home while chanting. The chant’s actual words didn’t relate but I chanted with intention, the additional energy and focus going towards ridding my apartment of anything with ill intent.
take heart, friends!! there is always a way to change your situation, and if not the whole situation, than small aspects of it. you absolutely have the power to do so!
You know what? Who cares if Aphrodite isn’t “calling” me? I’m a polytheist with some ancestor worship thrown in there. As long as I am respecting my patron god/dess and doing my best to uphold their values, changing the world for the better, I think I’ll be just fine.
