About Rosanna

Rosanna of Fractyl is a Cybertronian pop idol singer. She exists in the Kiss Players and TFA canons. She is also seen at a protest in the IDW 2005 comics with her purple sister, Flip Sides.

Flip Sides and Rosanna are cassetticons and they are the same model as Rewind and Eject, but with feminising modifications, such as a metal "skirt". Although all of Rosanna's toys have been sold with weapons, she doesn't seem to use them in canon. There is an implication in some canon materials that Rosanna (who is an Autobot) and Filp Sides (who is a Decepticon) may be the same person, but I don't play them that way.

I can play her from KP or TFA equally well. I know KP very well. I can also play the one in my Voice of Stanix fics. I do not mind playing KP verse as long as people aren't gross about it.

I don't have a lot of rules--they're all pretty obvious things, except one.

No god-modding or killing/maiming or NSFW happens to my characters without my explicit consent in direct messages.

Do not rush into relationships with my characters. It is OK to assume friendships that exist in canon but nothing further.

Don't assume that you know stuff about Rosanna that your character wouldn't canonically be in a position to know.

I do not care if male characters flirt with Rosanna, because dudes flirt with lesbians all the time. But as a player you should know that my Rosanna is a lesbian and your male characters have no chance of getting anywhere with her. She will not go out with them except as friends and she will never pop her panels for them. She is gay gay gay for girls girls girls.

No minors and especially no minors in my NSFW.

Rosanna canonically has exotic pets and in TFA she had a lot of them. I will joke about Carole Baskin coming after her because Carole Baskin is a joke, but I will block animal rights propaganda. My feelings about exotic pets are a) not exactly the same as Rosanna's b) not something I'm willing to fight about in an RP blog.

She panics at the sudden apparenace of the creature in her hands, and that combined with her current state of luck, the gecko slips throught her fingers and onto the rug where in unceremoniously snatched up in Juniors jaws, who's back from his play date at the neighbors.

" Wh- Junior no! "

It's a good 5 minutes of her trying to get him to drop it before she gives up

So will the carpet.

Rosanna has gone to answer the door. The food delivery's here. It looks like a lot more food than Rosanna would usually order from Cypher Eats, even allowing for the fact that Cherr is bigger than her.

That's because it was somebody else's order.

By the time she opens the bag, the delivery drone is long gone.

Cherr spends a good couple minutes mourning the death of the innocent creature, despite how used she's gotten to junior bringing her little dead things, but her attention is easily stolen by the arrival of food. If there's one way to cheer up this femme in particular, it would be food, and thus she has no quarrels with the larger amount of food.

It looks delicious.

"Well," says Rosanna, "it's not what I ordered, but it smells all right." She carries the cartons to the table. "Someone must have been partying all night last night, there is a lot of bismuth brittle here."

Iridessa horks up the dead lizard.

Rosanna frowns and breaks off a big piece of the bismuth, then grabs the paper towels. "You might as well go ahead and dig in?" Rosanna cleans up after her pet and cajoles Iridessa into eating the bismuth.

Everything's fine until she goes into the kitchen to wash her hands.

Cherr's used to having smaller people over, so there's a stepstool, but the top step breaks when Rosanna sets her second foot on it, and Rosanna is now on the floor with soapy hands and the solvent is still running.

And dig in she does. It's good all things considered. A little overdone, which leads to it sticking awkwardly to her denta, but its more of an annoyance other then a full blown issue. Whether she cringes at the sensation, or the dead gecko before its swept away will always be a mystery (it was both, but more so the later).

And then the moment she thinks her bad luck vortex might be getting better, there's a bang and a clammer from the kitchen, and Junior shoots off towards the sectioned off part of the room yipping up a storm. " Rosa!! " Cherr is quick to follow of course, shooting up from her spot on the couch and barely avoiding tripping over another rug as she pokes her head into the kitchen to a sigh: Rosana on the floor, a broken stool and junior on the counters awkwardly chewing on the sink handle. She takes a step to help up her mentee, and the next thing she knows the floor is wet and she's slamming back first into the ground, too quick to reposition her door wings, and she's joined rosana in a pile on the floor. Thankfully, junior manages to twist the sink off AFTER that fact.

The moment the water turns off, the empty pan on her stove catches on fire. That one's fine she got fire proof walls last week after the muffin incident.

Rosanna and Cherr help one another up. It doesn't seem like either of them needs to go to the hospital, anyway; Cherr's doorwings were knocked slightly ajar and Rosanna's knee hurts, but everything slips back into place.

"Good boy, Junior," says Rosanna, only to look over to the table where Iridessa is eating their food.

"I swear I did train her," she begins, and goes to the table and grabs a carton that neither Cherr nor any of the foxes has eaten from yet. She doesn't really even care what it is. It's not what she ordered, and it's definitely overdone, but it's food.

Heavy food. Greasy food. It looks like they have...yep, the receipt on the bag says this was ordered by someone named Drag Strip for four other people and they're probably very annoyed that they have all of the sugary little cakes and tea sandwiches Rosanna ordered.

"Whoever ordered this had bad luck too," she muses, "because it was five guys who, based on what they ordered, were all hung over, and they got our food. And neither of us actually went into the frozen energon shop--I was just thinking about it. I think whatever's causing all these problems is a localised phenomenon. My day was going fine till I got to this block. Maybe we should go someplace else?"

Once the two of then get back on their feet, things start slowly falling back into place again. Junior, proud at the praise, sits up straight as his wagging tail knocks the burning pan off the stove and into the puddle of water below, extinguishing the flames. Next, no one slips or trips as they evacuate the kitchen, and cherr's begining to think her lucks back.

She listens intensively as rosana speaks, quickly grabbing a rag from the cabinet next to the stairs and adding hums here and there to show that she was paying attention. It's true, and weird, that the bad luck seems to be located in such a specific area of affect, but she doesn't want to sound pretentious by assuming that she's the center of it all. Still-

"You're willing to leave whenever you'd like hun, and if you really think it's the block if advise you to run, but really I'm honestly fine. I've got experience in dealing with inconveinces." She grins, snagging of of the peices of brittle and popping it into her mouth! Oh, not over done! Seems all the good ones were at the bottom. "Plus, I think I've avoided the worst of it, things seem to be falling back into place."

She seems much more sure on her pede's now, moving from one side of the room to another. She ditches the rag for what a human would call a comediacly large sponge, and is quick to get to cleaning and drying up the kitchen floor. Bad luck be dammed, it was still a hazard.

"Listen, there's this cute little Cafe a block down on the main level, why don't you go down there are get some cozy drinks while I clean this up? If you say it's for me they'll give you a discount, I do so many gigs there I'm basically an employee at this point." She chuckles. It's a very obvious, and very polite attempt to shoo rosana off, both to get her out of the possible bad luck zone, but also because she refuses to make a quest just sit around and wait, of primus forbid have them clean, so really it's out of the goodness of her spark. "They've got some darling little quartz cookies I think you'd LOVE~"

Well, when Cherr insists on cleaning, Rosanna does her best to help--but Iridessa is the opposite of helpful, and she gets the point. "Only if you let me bring you some back," Rosanna says. "It does seem to have settled down--whatever it was. But I feel like you should at least get dessert, given the mess Iridessa has done her best to help create. This was so not what I had in mind when I thought she and Junior should get to hang out some." She's leashing her fox as she speaks.

"I'll be back in a flash with your goodies, darling."

M!A Luck Sinkhole: For two days your luck is so terrible that it may bleed out and affect those around you as well!

The day starts off horribly, if her luck is anything to go by. She was out of her meds and Joy wasn't available for a restock meeting until next week, so she pilled on another full nighter to her previous roster. It's not so bad really, she has experience living through life while running on fumes, and the weather looks perfect today! All she needs is a glass of energon and she'll be on stable feet in no time.

And then, groggy and tired, she trips on the rug and falls down her stairs down to the main floor.

She's on her front, too tired to tuck away her doorwings so that she could lay down on her back, and apparently too tired to have even heard rosana come in. She sputters as her face is attacked with turbofox licks, no Juniors since he was with the neighbor, and shifts to look up at her company.

" Wh- Rosana what are you doing here? " A pause " How are you here? Im pretty sure the door was locked, and I'm sure you don't have one of my spare keys-. " Did she?

"I thought you knew I was coming, we talked about it last week--"

Rosanna sighs. "Well, anyway, your lock is broken. When I saw you there on the floor-- did you hurt yourself? Do you want me to call a medic?"

" Right i did i completely forgot I'm sorry, my mind's been all over the place these past couple days-. " And of course her lock is broken, that's just her luck.

" Thank you for the concern dear, but i'm fine really. It seems like luck isn't on my side today and i've decided that this is the safest place to be. " She states, casually, as if she was just talking about the weather on a normal Tuesday afternoon

"Right," Rosanna says, because yes this is absolutely weird and on the other hand she is Glit's best friend and Glit just told her he thinks his new boyfriend is going to propose, but by the way this boyfriend of his is named...Megatron? Why would anyone want to call themselves THAT?

"I'm ordering Cypher Eats," she says, and whips out her phone, only to discover that her favourite blue energon ice is unavailable, because the shop is not taking orders--and yes, it's a block away, she could just walk there, except apparently, it is on fire. Well...you can't go wrong with puffed mineral rings, and breakfast time is whenever you want it to be, so she places another order instead. "Cherr," she says, pointing out the window, "why is the frozen energon shop on fire? Everything they sell is cold!"

" Usually, I'd say don't pin it one me, but so far I've deemed it safe to assume that my bad luck has extended to thing even relating to me, and not just my physical self. Slipstream's not sure if that's a good idea. She's heard rumours about the place.

Rosanna's been to Earth lots of times, which is a fact that most people know. She was even in a band with three humans and three mecha in it--as was her buddy Glit.

She gives a flirtatious flutter of her wings, whether she's seen or not.

"Hello, gorgeous. Fancy running into you out here." Rosanna grins. "How've you been?"

"Hello, sweetspark."

Slipstream shifts over a little, just in case Rosanna wants to sit next to her. It can't hurt. "... We had to go on a supply run." She admits. "My ship won't stay spaceworthy if it's not maintained, and I do need to pay my crew if I want them to be able to stay with me."

A pause.

"... I missed you, darling. I did get you something, but it hardly made up for lack of your presence."

Rosanna reaches for an arm up; if she's going to sit in the same seat as Slipstream, she is going to need it. "I missed you too," she says, "Presents are important, but presence is more so."

Rosanna's not exactly a big girl, but she's certainly grown, now, and she can take care of herself. Being taken care of is really only fun when it's a choice.

"When I'm not playing, I could go with you sometime, maybe--though I trust your instincts about whether or not the location's appropriate."

She is a minibot, after all. "Have you ever been to the Sol System? I have a lot of friends there, and any friend of mine would be a friend of yours."

Slipstream offers her arm willingly; shifts over a bit more as she helps the smaller femme up. "Certainly, company is better than gifts." She agreed. "Consider it... an apology of sorts? I meant to tell you I'd be away." She adds. "But, I hope you can forgive me nonetheless."

A pause, smiling down at Rosanna. "Diveplane's been to the Sol System." Slipstream continues. "She's a submersible, and she misses swimming-- as a matter of fact, my crew and I have been discussing it as our possible next trip. I certainly wouldn't mind going, especially if you were there with me."

"You are already forgiven. I couldn't stay mad at you if I'd ever been mad in the first place," Rosanna says lightly. "I have friends on Earth and on Sanctuary. There are several places you can swim on the Sol System depending on your heat and cold tolerances and your pressure rating. My amica Glit is CMO at Sanctuary."

She eyes the straw in Slipstream's drink thoughtfully, uncertain if she wants a sip of that or something of her own.
