Shattered Glass Minimus Ambus

His first (and he thought his only) true love was his spark-brother Dominus, but the Decepticons caught Dommy spying and fucked him up.

"I would, but I always forget all about them when you're here." The bright pink mech curls up contentedly into Rung's lap. His head is not as empty as he allows people to think it is, and Rung in particular knows this. But it's nice when Minimus can pretend that he has no worries.

But it is well that Minimus is so complimentary. It is what Primus is due, and Rung has easily taken up that old mantle. It only makes sense, really— he is the Maker.

Minimus, dainty and companionable, is a wonderful example of fine craftsmanship. The color was a bit much, but that could always be changed later.

He gently strokes over the shell of an ear with his free hand, letting his veil fall back over his faceplate. “I’m glad I bring you such peace. The last thing we need is chaos…”

After a moment, he pauses. "I suppose you know I miss Dominus, but...I should, I suppose, try to get past it. He let them corrupt him so thoroughly."

Minimus can't understand why his brother allowed himself to be caught. But then, he doesn't understand Decepticons.

He does eat them slowly, though, savouring every taste of the dissolving gel and letting the flakes of soft metal come apart on his glossa. But then he holds out his wrist to his conjunx's intake. "I'm fine," he says. "You can trust what you drink from me, and you need to drink something."

He chuckles uncertainly.

"The Prime and his Protector do it."

Sometimes he wishes he could believe. It seems to be comforting. But he knows he's just as good as anyone else, whether or not he's wearing the body of a dead mech--the only mech who ever dared to divorce him.

Was it inevitable that the fortunes of their family would fall after the Autobot takeover? Shockwave had said they were fools to support it. But Dominus had thought it the right thing to do: Dominus, who was now a Decepticon in truth. They might not have their towers, but he still had all their money--and a few other people's, besides.

Ridiculous of him, to think he'd give up every single shanix of his own to be held like this for another century; he's always been more practical than that and always will be. But he'll put off the day of mourning as long as he can.

".... If you are hungry, eat." he adds, after another moment. "You know I need little fuel. I will wait."

He actually really likes Thunderclash. More than he'd ever thought it possible to like anyone ever again, after the Decepticons took his Dommy and made him so boring.

(Dominus was always the best pretender. He thought he could fake the Decepticon ways. He was prim and proper in the old days, when the liberals ruled the Senate, and things were easier for...people like them. But no such luck. Tarn caught him and sent him to SOME kind of therapy, and now he's a little slow and he's boring and the drugs he gets don't do anything fun and worst of all he's never coming home-- and he didn't ever think anyone could love him like his brother did--but. BUT.)

Rosanna would have told him if they were in danger. Still, he transforms before he goes into the berthroom, though he couldn't say why, and runs into the berthroom, all fluffy and soft, to burrow under the covers with Thunderclash.

There's still some high grade left.

No proper fuel but there are treats. He might have to ration them, how do you even do that?

Not everything is better now, the way Nemesis promised, especially not for people like him and his brother. But for a while they didn't have to hide, because Primus doesn't care who you love as long as you love savagely.

Thunderclash stirs more awake, when Minimus returns; the words delivered have him even further wakening, shaking off his torpor to reach around under the covers.

He finds his conjunx's fluffy form, and strokes the polymer fur gently, soothingly, for a few moments, before finding his own words.

"... We'll be all right." He soothes, best he can.

"If everyone is sick now, I'm glad you didn't go." He adds. "And don't even worry about the rest of it-- First Aid will cure or cull the worst infected, and then everything will be fine."

A cycled vent that rattles just a little. "Primus won't abandon us."

Minimus whines softly, a fox-noise, and snuggles closer. "I wish I could keep you forever," he says, and finds himself meaning it. And wishing he could believe what Clash just said. But nothing lasts forever in Primus' savage garden.

His soft audial flicks against Clash's cheek.

Clash loves him like this.
