My statement and the printed postcards in the Barbarian Exhibition 2015 “Egocentrism” (2-7th Sep 2015).

「當準備創作人像作品時，我經常從不同背景的人物尋找新靈感，關註他們的神態動靜、生活空間再把新舊記憶加以思考。創作過程中，除了抒發我對主角純粹的感受之外，我喜歡留下不完美的記錄、有意識地將部份影像錯置，比喻錯中有序的缺憾美；又或者於畫面裡適度地加入抽象空間、甚至把人物抽象化、刻意扭曲, 以反映現實中不同人物的內心世界並突出持抱開放態度的觀點。我視創作過程中的了解、分析及演繹為一個內省的旅程。本次畫展題目為私想，我帶來幾幅人體、人物作品，或者觀眾可以透過我的創作思路尋求各自心想的「我」，思索生於世上人物與我之間的關係。」 蔡佩欣, 08/2015

出生於1987年香港．視覺藝術家．工作包括純藝術及插圖創作．自設工作室, 私人教授畫畫。

“When i’m preparing to create a figurative painting, i always get new inspiration from the people with their different life, their emotion, the space that they live in and their background. In the process of my creation, except expressing my pure feeling, i like to make the painting with abstracted space within and around the figures consciously. I also express my inner feeling through distortion to reflect the truth and the different aspect of thinking in reality. I don’t think it’s necessary to have a prefect clarification, i do even like to make an imperfect image to representing the reality. I called my process of creation as a journey of introspection. In the exhibition - "Egocentrism”, I show you some of my portrait and figurative paintings. I believe that the strange faces in the paintings could help us to make up the mind!“ Meevi Choi, Aug 2015

It has been a long time not updating my status. I’ m just married and in pregnancy at the same time! Have been terribly busy..now i’m going to date back recent works i’ve done. Throwback to last exhibition, here’s the artworks and list in the Barbarian Exhibition 2015 “Egocentrism”:
