Honestly i’ve had a rough couple of moths and i haven’t had much motivation to draw anything and when I do draw something is not good enough to post, so this is basically forcing myself to post as to not let this account die, even though I did gave up at the end but something is better than nothing I guess. Many changes in my life cuz now I have to enter the wonderful world of adulting for real and i’m already lost and unemployed, ain’t that great! So yeah had a bit of a strain on my mental health, but oh well at the end of the day I am alive and well in the grand scheme of things, and i wanna keep posting because i really like it! And i hope the three people that see my stuff also like it!. Also i’ve been wondering if i should post other fandom content, cuz i am into many things and have more fanart, and i havent touched cotl in a while (still love it though!) but this account i created for cotl and i kinda wanna keep the theme hmmmmmm guess we’ll see!

I did a poll asking which mother figure from COTL I should make an illustration for, and it tied up to the VERY last second. And at that point I kinda wanted to do them both anyway, so the poll was pointless lol ^_^;

Anyway, if you are able to do so, call your mom today! Get her flowers and chocolates! Have dinner with her! Tell her how much you love her, and how much you appreciate what she's done for you!

And if you do not have a such worthy figure in your life, put yourself as the POV character and allow these lovely mothers to appreciate your gratitude instead!

FINALLY DONE!!! I've been hacking away at this since May. It wasn't easy to come up with four new designs for the Bishops so that they were distinct from their "canon" designs (i.e. their designs as I've depicted them in Shiloh's timeline.)

Much like how in every timeline a Bishop must be chained, it so too seems fated that each God must fall for their Vessel. Some harder and sooner than others, some later and more subdued but no less powerful.

Goat (or Malachi, as I've named them) comes off as an over-confident braggart but in truth they are terribly, terribly lonely. While Lamb has found solace and companionship within their own Flock, Goat is unable to form solid connections due to their own issues and personality. Lamb is their only real friend (and so are the other Crownbearers, but Goat met Lamb first and so they're always going to hold first place in their heart as far as friends go.)

In their own universes, the Crownbearers are referred to as either "Lamb" or "Goat" respectively by their own followers, but when visiting their counterparts followers call them "Saunt" (Saunt Bilhah, Saunt Malachi, etc.)

Well, so much for that.

Another rule I didn't see fit to draw is that time "pauses" for the world any crownbearer leaves. For example, if Goat visits Lamb's timeline (or vice versa) and then returns to their own time, it will be like no time has passed. However, this has the effect of sealing off that timeline from any of the other crownbearers, like if while Goat visits Lamb and Jesse wants to visit Goat, they can't enter Goat's timeline and instead pop up in Lamb's world, etcetera.

This is handy since they cannot bring any resources back to their own world, and therefore they don't have to worry about their own cults starving or some such while they visit their counterparts.

Trying to keep myself motivated by jumping around different projects while doing the big ones. Also more experimenting with my coloring style, I think I'm getting a handle on what I want. It's helping me draw faster, that's for sure.

When Goat and Lamb accidentally die simultaneously while on crusade, instead of appearing before their gods they meet three strangers with crowns of their own...

Bilhah, Bringer of the Harvest

They love to cook, but they're absolutely terrible at it. At least their green thumb accurately belies their crown abilities.

Jesse, Doctor of Miracles

They don't have a cult so much as a clinic--a clinic dedicated to the learning of forbidden healing magic.

Enoch, the Force of Nature

Their cult is nomadic, traveling all around the Lands of the Old Faith.

(Incidentally, Shiloh's epitaph is Death's Shepherd, and Malachi's is the Omen of War.)

Additionally, with the discovery of more than one alternate timelines, Shiloh also learns a very unfortunate detail...
