WHAT IF

no but remember when this cm came out, and tumblr went crazy for 3 days over the swimming anime. Countless of photosets and gifs, then the fanarts and cosplays. (gosh remember, tsundere, senpai, shota and pimp?) BUT IT WAS “JUST A CM” AND WE’LL GOTTA LIVE WITH IT.

BUT THEN LIKE 2 MONTHS LATER:

AND FINALLY THE DAY ARRIVED

AND WE GOT NOT ONLY 4 BOYS BUT 5 AND IT’S CALLED FREE! (in that moment we all wondered why the hell ‘free!’)

Everyone was like YOOOO MEGANE, looks so serious but hell we didn’t know what was Rei Ryugazaki gonna be on episode 3 and 4

OH and the pimp wasn’t the pimp anymore and and he was in other school and rivals?!?!?

Remember when episode 1 finally aired, and THIS WAS WAY BETTER OF WHAT WE COULD’VE ASKED FOR 

Then nagisa called Rei beautiful and that he was gonna take responsibility

But at then end they are all adorable kids and i just wanna them to be happy, and i don’t know how to survive this week and how i’ll live through and after the last episode

maybe i should start crying but i just really fell in love with these swimming kids and i don’t want them to go

His eyebrow twitched ever so slightly at that ridiculous name, but he let it slide for now. “You’re just saying that because you don’t know how to swim yet. The water isn’t going to harm you, honestly."

He narrowed his orbs back at the other figure, standing alongside him was a little annoying - knowing that he’d never get to have a form like this males. “Obviously. Water is harmless until you go into it. As you could tell by my… shambles of a dive. I almost drowned…" Huff. “Senpai…" He started, fists curling tightly at his sides. “Will I ever have a form like yours?"

"The dive’s the hard part." Haru commented, looking aside with a sigh. “You won’t know unless you try, right? We’ll all help you." He looked back, a determination in his eyes. “Let’s start right now."

Haru slipped out of his shirt quickly, determined to get Rei into the pool and start showing him the basics of swimming.

Rei was more uneased at the sound of that. Nagisa, Tachibana and Nanase teaching him how to swim was going to be something. Looking off to the side, he'd only return to watch the male undress; there and then. What the hell? Blinking, he'd actually start to lift his brows before turning his gaze back to the pools surface. "Are you going to dive?" Hardest part yes, but this student.

It was flawless the way he had it down. And Rei, for once, wasn't going to study it religiously  no, he was going to watch Nanase-senpai be free and do freestyle.

How to say this? Hm... A hand reached up to push his glasses by the center bridge and then slip to the side to itch his cheek as hues glanced left and right. "Can... you swim?" There. It's okay. Ahem.
