Do we get to see Max's reaction to Rafe's arrival into the LB family in The Land I Lost? What kind of relationship as brothers will they have?
We do! Magnus and Alec have been together for a good while at that point, raising a kid together for several years and firmly intending to marry when they can, so they have talked about adopting another kid, rather than being blindsided as they both were (in a good way–Alec certainly felt hit by an immediate truck of baby love!) by Max’s arrival. And they’ve discussed the issue with Max, who is enthusiastic and is like “Will I be brought back a brother or a sister?” every time one of his parents go out, while Magnus is like “No… I’m going to Sephora.”
However, Rafe’s arrival is still going to entail many surprises, especially to Alec. And we will definitely see Max and Rafe meet, and get a better idea of their–very different–personalities, and their likely future relationship.
