This is a MegaStar Gemformers collection.

Starscream is a star-shaped pearl in different colors, and Megatron is an Obsidian.(G1/cybervers→Fire Obsidian；TFP→Rainbow Obsidian; SG→Blue Sheen Obsidian)

I picked Obsidian for Mega mainly because I once watched a SU analysis on YouTube saying that non-fusion Obsidians seem to be more like army-based construction workers — basically labor-class Gems. Not super high in status, but very powerful. And since we also see Snowflake Obsidian having some unique abilities in the show, it just felt like a really good fit.

As for Starscream… no explanation needed. Pearl-coded from the start 💅✨

And their fusions will be like…

I don’t think I have time to draw these but it’s fun to think about it.

ok listen Ik a popular interpretation is that D-16 would hate Megatron and I’m not against it, I don’t think it’s wrong . But I’m of the opinion that Megatron is D-16’s repressed power fantasy given LIFE .

Megatron is D-16 and ik that’s obvious but Megatron has the exact same worldview that D-16 did . D-16 thought “might is right” all the way from the very beginning, it’s how she justified her (implied) oppression . When D-16 got that big ass cannon, she didn’t change her worldview, she didn’t get introduced to revolutionary political theory, she didn’t say the word “equality” ONCE lmfao .

So if you went up to D-16 and told her that in the future, she’d be a warlord in command of an army and she’d have a sick ass cannon and she would be powerful enough to kill a (false) Prime . IDK if she’d hate it, even if you mentioned that she nuked Pax !

When I say Megatron is D-16, I mean that her resentment of Pax was always bubbling under the surface . It’s not that Dee caught Pax and Megatron dropped him, they are the same person . D-16 is Megatron and D-16 made the choice to let Pax fall . She felt guilty about shooting Pax but #shedidwhatshedid . Pax was shot by accident but that friendship was alr on the thinnest of ice .

On the flip side, I do think Megatron wld view herself as these two halves and loathe who she used to be . Megatron 12 am cringe flashbacks in the sequel . Convoluted self hatred .

TLDR: what if u turned into ur self insert alicorn OC from middle school . but u had to drop that one friend who u lowkey blame for all ur problems . yay or neigh
