this is my doodle world fandom blog, my spam/ramble acc is @chimeradrill! this is a TJ focused blog because he is awesome and i like him. i post art, analysis, and general rambles about doodle world whenever i have something to say about this game, which is quite often. if you're looking for something specific, you're free to browse my list of tags!

- i guess if you really want to, you can interact if you're the kind of person who hates/dislikes TJ, but you guys especially should keep in mind that this is my space, my posts are not made for you, and this is not a safe place for you to state your opinions. hate and negativity towards TJ is already plentiful and unavoidable in this fandom and you would be invading a safe space by perpetuating all that slander. have some common sense and be respectful.

- fandom isn't a competition, it's meant to be for fun. i'm not the "#1 TJ fan", i'm not an expert at anything, i did not write doodle world, i'm not an authority on anything, and neither are you. just because i'm a huge fan of a character that doesn't mean i'm trying to claim i'm smarter or better than you, and you should never feel discouraged to be a TJ enthusiast yourself just because i exist. that being said, i've been playing doodle world for three years. TJ is still my hyperfixation and if there is any canon or fanon information, theories, or know-how about him, assume i probably know it already.

while this blog will be mostly silly because i am a silly individual at my core, i'm also quite transparent about my not so fun experiences in this fandom as a TJ fan, and i will speak about it at times. it's honestly already hard enough for me to be on here, so just try not to make it harder for me. just like anyone else, i'm here to have fun, and i tag ships and negativity and such to stay courteous to everyone who views my blog, and all i ask is to be treated with that same basic respect and consideration in return.

i'm always open to making friends, but if you'd like to engage with me and be mutuals and such, i'd really prefer it if you take a read through at least a bit of my #antiblackness tag.

Something I think people learning to draw black characters or just generally any nonblack artist should really think about is like, do you engage with Black artists? Like outside of looking at their tutorials and tips, do you follow black artists? Do you look at, and study their style and the way they draw black characters? I think thats a really important aspect for nonblack artists, you can say x y z, but are you like actually engaging with black art especially outside of the public eye? This of course goes for any artform but i here was specifically talking about art in the sense of painting, drawing, animation, etc.

actually deltarune weird route is really anomalystrings coded and i only now realized why but its the idea that the players behaviors do affect TJ and influences much of his behavior later on. like noelle hes a blank slate of a person always following routine and he'll always be just a regular boy from lakewood town no matter how much he may try. player comes from much the same place as him but they managed to become something more, and especially if youre always choosing to lose karma, they give TJ the courage to be strong. for better or for worse

soooo yall r getting the transfem tj headcannons / general thoughts from my notes app now haha (she her pronouns used for tj in the whole post including pre transition tj)

serious ish part first:

tj is obviously very dissatisfied with her current life and especially herself and has a looot of self worth issues. and as many trans folks (in my experience atleast) do, she tries to change things and achieve something great (being the chosen one, defeating player) in hopes it will fullfill that nagging feeling that something is not right tm with her life. so even if she achieves these goals of defeating player, it would not make her happier, as that was never the “issue” to begin with

i feel like she would lean into gender stereotypes before realising / accepting she is trans, as she is obsessed with beating player to show her strength (a stefeotypical “male” thing)

TJ would be entirely unaware of the fact that hes extremely good at comforting people. when hes not doing it, he gets embarrassed even at the thought and he'll say oh im not good at that kinda stuff id give bad advice. but whenever his friends go to him to vent he'll always know exactly what to say or do, even while most of his brain is currently occupied by. like. the video game hes playing
