got SUPER CRAZY bored of theme parks very fast- i know it cause for two years or so i was ADDICTED. i went with my loving family from norcal one week ago- I was proud to say this is my first time going to a theme park and not buying stupid shit. I'm also like wow.

ALSO THEY CHANGED the harry potter ride at universal btw!!!!!!!!

I went there like 10 years ago with my family up in norcal as well

And the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey used to be this really calm, chill ride. It just went sideways (to the left, i think?) and like. that was it. I GENUINELY REMEMBER THIS SO WELL I MEAN!!

NOW ITS LIKE HORROR LIKE what it gyrates; it goes up and down and nearly takes you upside down LIKE I DONT REMEMBER THIS HELLOOO i remember this ride being relaxing LOL could be remembering wrong but still ! definitely wasn't this scary, or "scary" i should say

edit: ok i looked it up; i was right. i even remember the 3D glasses the one 10 years ago had. it does gyrate up and down.. kinda remembering from 10 years ago. but what makes it seem faster is im getting older and they bumped up the visuals from 60 fps to 120 fps i see i mean.. my eyes were deceiving me after all /edit

got bored of concerts and music festivals momentarily, even got bored of genshin and fornite (though in regards to the last two these only got boring for like a day or two... so its more likely im just burnt out but whatever lololol)

went back to editing cause it's the only thing that interests me these days ngl (besides genshin and fortnite at least ! LOL) hypercarries the overthinking yet combines the actually doing something part that activates my brain (i have no idea what im saying sorry LOL)

i think a big reason anime got so popular was that tiktok REALLY hyped it up esp during covid and no one had anything else to do

thursday was kind of fun, but i just got off work and all i was able to do was catch the anime music video competition- im ngl im not that impressed by most of the videos there. and i sat there wondering how on EARTH any of these became finalists (NOT ALL OK. im not going to mention names but!!)

there were maybe like 2-3 videos i genuinely was impressed by? 5 if we're lowering that bar out of like the 30 showcased

was it worth my time? kind of. it is anime after all, and i am an editor but

so what i have to do is once again go over ALLL the video (im not gonna do that though im sorry LOL) and chase down that one flash frame cause it does.. it looks like a glitch. cause it basically is one so

so what im going to do is take my newly "rough cut" (ay! learning the terminology now lmao) vid that finished rendering... putting THAT into a new project timeline in premiere

and editing from there

cause there's too many layers too go through otherwise- all for a measely little frame- i can't believe

cause this video took me a long time to go through... and im not even done with it now but im pretty close but

edit: 3:11 am - editing the rough cut now - oh it was actually three consecutive frames; im starting to feel better about myself now LOL why did i think it was one though. and i found yet another flaw along the way so its fine i mean /edit

edit edit: 3:26 am huh. turns out i found yet another flash frame glitch- this time it was two consecutive frames though for the ep 9 one you'll see i mean /edit edit

i try to relate it to my video editing hobby as much as possible

i imagine it's cause there's just always going to be so much learn and so much to improve on no matter how many years pass

at least my excuse with my job and in tech in particular is that tech is always changing.. it's always changing around it's always moving
