Blossoming friendship 🤍

One day, while hanging out, they ran into one of Cat's acquaintances. Morgan was caught off guard when Cat spontaneously pulled him close with such enthusiasm and called him a friend. It was a beautiful feeling.

This is how it started!

My hyperfixation with the Cat in the Hat was developing. I created my self-insert because I really wanted to draw myself with the Cat, do it a couple of times for fun, and then leave it at that. I didn't even consider it a selfship, and I never thought I'd go any further than I originally intended, but here I am now! I'm excited to share what I find so comforting to draw, I have so much to show! 👀

This is from last year, so it looks very different from my current art because I wasn't familiar with the Dr. Seuss style. I've improved over time, but I'm still learning.

Anyways

Broadly speaking, Morgan is an introverted and reserved guy, keeping most of his thoughts and feelings to himself. By a twist of fate, the Cat in the Hat enters his life one day and turns it upside down—but in a good way! They become friends, and at some point, Morgan wishes he could be closer, but because of his tendency to overthink, he's afraid of seeming annoying or making the Cat uncomfortable, so he keeps his distance for now. Perhaps he'll work up the courage later...
