I’m not religious in any way whatsoever but I do believe that we are blessed with Guardian Angels. You came into my life and made me who I am today, you guided me from day one. It wasn’t easy, you taught me patience, your soft nature taught me compassion and the glint in your eye taught me the strength to live. My rock, you watched over me on days of sadness and doubt and gave me wings on days of laughter and happiness. I think there is nothing more rewarding in this world than finding the love and bond with an animal, to be able to communicate with something that cannot talk is a gift within itself. For giving me that bond I am forever in your debt, I owe you my life. A day doesn’t go by where I don’t think of you, shedding a tear or reminiscing our good times. I understand you had to go, but I wish I could of said my goodbyes to give you one last hug. My life isn’t the same anymore, I’m so lost without you, please don’t stop guiding me yet, I need you.

Everyone on here always says things like “May your heels be deep and distances accurate,” but I wish you a little more than that. May you know how to stand for what you know is right, even when no one is looking. May you not lose sight of who you are or what you believe in along the way. May your heels be deep, but may your roots run deeper. ring-side
