We know that Farrah's choice of a prosthetic design goes down to her scotophobia, but seeing her next to non-Crows with their wings dyed black made me think about how it could've been a subtle screw you to the Dole. Now that she has an artificial wing part, she doesn't have to look like a 'proper', 'normal' Sparrow, and she embraces it.

I wonder if she could have a business in the better future where she'd restore wings/wing parts for Avians who've lost them, while making a point that they could choose any alternative colour or design if they wanted to. Because people don't have to be completely locked into what nature has given them at birth.

Yeah we know any alteration to how you appear as a species is taboo, so really having her prosthetic wing has freed her from the constraints of “being a sparrow”. She’d def help others get there too, since the ultimate goal is to abolish speciesism

Did Ree and Farrah have to hide the true nature of their relationship on Kooup due to speciecism? We know they hid they were Bonded (which probably had no legal power on Kooup anyway so whatevs), but it seems like Lyr was guessing about them being romantic partners rather than knew for sure about it 🤔

Yes they had to hide it, and Lyr was the third friend in their friendship triangle and was actively pining for Ree, so of course she saw what was going on between them (which was why she decided to get rid of farrah)

How do you feel about people complaining that they 'can't handle' the story because there are many plotlines, a huge ensemble cast, and the story has been releasing over years with occasional pauses? I'm not saying you should release recaps, or asking for one, but wouldn't it be easier for both them and yourself? So that you don't have to read another comment going 'ommmmgggg who is this strange new woman I don't remember her it's been soooo long 😭' and it's just Hon, or some shit like that 😂

Recaps take me ages to do and I honestly don’t have the time, especially when it’s 8 years of content and people could just go back a few eps and reread like. The whole things there they can reread it to refresh themselves at their leisure if they want

I cannot properly articulate how excited I am about tomorrow's update!!!!! I started reading the croaking in May of 2020 and now we're coming full circle!!! This story has seen me through three separate moves abroad, a bachelor's, a master's and now a doctoral degree (though I hope to god it won't see me through another pandemic🫥), like it's been such a great companion through so many big changes, and now we're in the final stretch!!!!
