I WANT YOU AND I ALWAYS WILL.
TEXTS ✉ MORGAN ⇆ MEGAN
Morgan: Then we're good for Monday night. Haven't been to a concert in a while.
Morgan: It's a horrible image. Barely knew how to use eyeliner. They're British, I think. Ummm, I like '7' and 'Heathrow' a lot.
Megan: Neither have I but a co-worker of mine had gotten tickets but now she can't go. We
Megan: I assume that's changed now? I had a listen. I haven't really heard much in terms of indie but I like it... So, I'll see you Monday then.
TEXTS ✉ MORGAN ⇆ MEGAN
Morgan: I think I can do that. If you want.
Morgan: That's cool. I think I was still stuck in my MCR phase at that point. And I'm not sure why I'm admitting to that. I don't think I have a favorite nowadays either, but I'm really enjoying Catfish and the Bottlemen's latest album.
Megan: I wouldn't have asked if I didn't want you...
Megan: I'm trying wrap my head around that image. Amusing for sure. I can't say that I've heard of them. I'll check the album out. Anything you recommend first?
TEXTS ✉ MORGAN ⇆ MEGAN
Morgan: Yeah, definitely.
Morgan: Oh? When is it? I've listened to a couple of their songs and they're good.
Morgan: I like rock music, for the record. And indie, mostly. Are Sick Puppies your favorite band?
Megan: It's pretty short notice, Monday. I understand if you can't come.
Megan: I'll be sure to remember that. I don't mind either as well. They were when I was in college, I suppose. Not sure I even have a favorite nowadays. You?
TEXTS ✉ MORGAN ⇆ MEGAN
Morgan: Right, of course.
Morgan: Erm, not really. I thought I'd...yeah do that. Give you my number. Finally.
Morgan: ...Sorry.
Megan: Thanks, I appreciate that. It'll be nice to reach you in case of an emergency.
Megan: I have this spare ticket now to see Sick Puppies. I'm not sure if you're into them or even what kind of music you like but it wouldn't be the worst if you came with.
Love isn’t brains, children, i t ’ s b l o o d . Blood screaming inside you to work its will. (insp)

TEXTS ✉ MORGAN ⇆ MEGAN
Morgan: I just realized I still hadn't given you my number... Shit. I'm the worst for texting sometimes.
Morgan: Oh, it's Morgan. Probably should've said that first.
[takes like forever to reply because why not]
Megan: Yeah, I kind of figured as much. Not too many have my number in the first place.
Megan: Was there something you needed? Or did you just want me to have your number?
Andy groaned to herself as she moved along at a frustrating pace. The long days in the hospital had been the hardest of her life so far and now here she was, her lower leg practically useless in a cast, full of stupid bits of metal and her one lifeline was the crutches keeping her up. Her newly purchased workbooks were perched beneath her arm in a bag but as she set her teeth and attempted to adjust her grip on the crutches they tumbled to the floor. With an exasperated sound she realised that there was no way she could get them herself. She couldn’t just stoop down like she normally would. She wasn’t allowed to put weight on her leg. She shouldn’t even consider trying to function normally so soon after the accident. In fact she shouldn’t even be out but the world didn’t stop turning just because her life had been ruined. There wasn’t much she could do. Her expression looked genuinely lost as her eyes focused on the books. “Could you get those for me…please? I can’t…I’m sorry.”
Megan immediately recognized the younger woman. She'd always been a lot more cheery and certainly not on crutches. They'd met on one of her many trips to the ER but this was clearly more severe than in times past. Although, her mind drifted to that dreaded night in the bar. Megan could easily blame it on the alcohol but her actions had been cringeworthy at best. Just as she was about to pretend to not see her, her instincts took over. She had to help her; reluctantly so, but it was a necessary. She wasn't heartless. Stepping in front to the person she'd been talking to, Megan sighed. “Hey, it’s fine. I got it,” she murmured, her cheeks slightly flushed. Bending down, she picked up Andy's books. She wanted to ask but she never intruded. Her gaze darted upwards. “Where you headed... I'll walk with you.”
Clearing Thoughts || Meg&Katie
Katie wondered what exactly was on Megan’s mind but she wasn’t going to ask, that wasn’t the point of her going to the address in her phone. No, the point was to clear the other girl’s thoughts and her own. She’d been having some nightmares lately and she wasn’t exactly a fan of it so losing her thoughts was the perfect medicine. She shook the thoughts as she walked from the liquor store, beer in hand before she set it in the backseat. She didn’t need to get caught with it, that would just be the icing on the cake. She shook her head slightly and chuckled at herself before she got back in the car and headed to the house. Her eyes went wide as she parked and climbed out, grabbing the beer. “Shit.” She muttered to herself at the size of the house, Meg wasn’t kidding. She shook her head and headed to the back like the blonde had told her, her eyes finding Megan immediately. “You weren’t fucking kidding. Who needs a house this big? There are people living in damn tents. What kind of shit is this? Does he have ten kids or something?” She asked as she walked towards the pool, setting the beer down on one of the pool chairs. “Let me guess, it’s a salt water pool? Because that’s what rich people do. They have the fancy shit that they think makes them cooler.”
@megjames
Megan didn't ordinarily do this sort of thing. If she was at a bar and just happened to go home with someone-- so be it. It wasn't as though she'd see them again. She preferred it that way as it didn't leave her with unwanted feelings for a 'friend'. In this case, her intentions were very evident. She didn't shy away from her wants when she'd texted Katie. Unlike with the last person she'd slept with no complications could come from this. This would be a mutually enjoyable experience and nothing more. She knew first hand what Katie had to offer and that's exactly why she'd reached out to her. The moment she realized she wasn't alone due to the yappy dog next door, she emerged from the water. A smirk toyed with her lips as she spotted her mate? She didn't know if Katie constituted as such but they were intimately acquainted. She laughed at the wide-eyed woman and her reaction. Megan had never been blown away by how the other half lived. She'd started off that way herself until doctor bills started piling up. “His kids don't live here anymore. Just him and wife number 3? I think it's three,” she shrugged, swimming to the wall. Pushing herself up on the cold wall, her head rested on her forearms. “You'd think but no it's just heated...” Her eyes fell on the case of beer. “Can you uh... hand me one of those?” Megan didn't necessarily need liquid courage but she favored it.
