My headcanon is that Varn is very good at giving back rubs and massages, like what he is clearly doing in this drawing here đâ¤ď¸âđĽ Also heâs 100% a wife guy and you canât convince me otherwise
Oh look! Another crop! Sometimes your Baroness PC has to be a well endowed elf and you just have to live your bliss đ¤ˇââď¸
Whatcha doin there Varn? More super cropped drawings of these two in some heated â¤ď¸âđĽđś diplomatic relations.
Hi hello Iâm resurrecting this account to post zoomed in drawings of my Baroness PC (circle of the moon Druid) for our Pathfinder Kingmaker (but doing it in 5e) game and the v dashing Maegar Varn getting it on đ
Our DM has left him live (for now) because I thought he was hot LOL.
They get along quite well đś
"I know a little of this man, Sandor Clegane. He was Prince Joffrey's sworn shield for many a year, and even here we would hear tell of his deeds, both good and ill. If even half of what we heard was true, this was a bitter, tormented soul, a sinner who mocked both gods and men. He served, but found no pride in service. He fought, but took no joy in victory. He drank, to drown his pain in a sea of wine. He did not love, nor was he loved himself. It was hate that drove him. Though he committed many sins, he never sought forgiveness. Where other men dream of love, or wealth, or glory, this man Sandor Clegane dreamed of slaying his own brother, a sin so terrible it makes me shudder just to speak of it. Yet that was the bread that nourished him, the fuel that kept his fires burning. Ignoble as it was, the hope of seeing his brother's blood upon his blade was all this sad and angry creature lived for ... and even that was taken from him, when Prince Oberyn of Dorne stabbed Ser Gregor with a poisoned spear."

âI know a little of this man, Sandor Clegane.â As he proceeds to give a detailed emotional discription of Sandor. Sure, EB. Like you havenât been doing deep emotional talk therapy with the man or anything.

Would you happen to know the age difference between Sansa and Sandor in the books?
In AGOT, Sansa is 11 and Sandor is 27. She's a child and he's a dysfunctional, emotionally scarred man. And I don't know of one shipper who wants them together at this point. GRRM separated them for good reason.
As Ashara (who has since left Tumblr and afaik hasn't returned) stated:
"I understand peopleâs discomfort with SanSan, but I believe most of it stems from misunderstanding the ship and the shippersâ intentions. Shipping SanSan absolutely does not mean we want them to be together when Sansa is a child, I cannot emphasize that enough. However, we would simply love for them to get together in the future when Sansa is older, Sandor is rehabilitated, and they are both in a much better and equal place. But most importantly, if they do end up together, it will be because being with Sandor is Sansaâs choice."
commission piece for thefeatherofhope and her lovely work Wild At Heart, which can be found here.Â
hope you guys like it! *flies off into the sunset*
One thing that always baffles me when it comes to Sandor is how hard people find it to in-vision his height (and his girth, destroy boyband skinny Sandor please) in comparison to other characters, particularly Sansa. Sandor is stated to be ânear seven feet tallâ, i.e. not quite there, so this realistically probably puts him in the 6â10â to 6â12â range.Considering how often Sandorâs size is brought up, and that he is related to Gregor who is fucking 8â tall, itâs safe to assume heâs at least 6â11â.  Sansa, on the other hand, is said to be âtall for a girlâ - people tend to take this and run with it, completely forgetting that she is twelve years old (or there abouts in AGoT and ASoS). The average height for a twelve year old girl is about 4â11â. If youâre generous and tack on a few inches to Sansa to fit her description, 5â3â isnât a terrible outlandish assumption (and puts Sansa only two inches away from the average height of a grown woman, which is 5â5â.) These forces combined, you get this:
Not exactly the eye-level meeting heights we get in most Blackwater fanart, is it? Now, if youâre going with the fanon that adult!Sansa is a willowy tall goddess (I sure do), and give her a model-esque height of 5â9â, you get this:Â
Even if you tack on a inch or two on top of that, Sansa is still pretty much just brushing the tops of Sandorâs shoulders, if that. Sheâs gonna need some heels if she wants to plant a kiss without him bending over. And this isnât even accounting for girth - Sandor is almost 7â and âmuscled like an oxâ - an ox is an incredibly interesting descriptor because they have a rather specific shape - big shoulders and huge barrel shaped body. (Which is precisely what the townâs people notice about Sandor in his road trip of hell with Arya). Sandor is a naturally burly guy - his body is much closer to a wrestlerâs or lumberjack caricature than Rory McCannâs. Heâs certainly not as reedy-thin as heâs shown in most fanart of him. And just for funsies, heâs some other Sandor comparisons: Sandor vs. Gregor
Sandor almost looks average next to his brother. Sandor vs. Arya (average height for a ten year old girl is listed by most sources as 4â7â, and as the text, as far as I recall, doesnât mention much in regards to Aryaâs height, Iâm going to go with that):
He probably rolled her into that blanket burrito one-handed. Comparisons made by the lovely height tool going around, found here: mrinitialman.com/OddsEnds/Sizes/sizes.html

Love it! :D
Thatâs a great book Sandor! :D

Just a very fast sketch of Sandor and Sansaâs kiss.
It is not a spoiler or something like Sansaâ fantasy in the book, itâs just a thing, which I wanted to draw.Â
Oh wow this is beautiful. Beautiful beautiful beautiful. (and âvery fast sketchâ? Good god!) (ETA: follow this person - new to tumblr with some amaaaaazing art!!)
him!Â
when do u suppose grrm will release twow? best guess?
when the sun rises in west and sets in the east⌠when the seas go dry and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves⌠when your womb quickens again and you bear a living child⌠then TWOW will be released, and not before.
I am sorry if this introduces negativity into the discussion - but I have started to sincerely believe that we will never get the conclusion to the ASOIAFâŚ
The story is done, it has been spoiled and done away with the TV show (already now, and soon will be even more with the last season airing), and anything that GRRM might bring to the table would inevitably be compared to the show and in the eyes of most people considered a âpoor imitationâ, Iâm afraid. Who would want to write in that kind of situation? How demotivating it must be to bring a new book not as it was before, into the hands of eagerly waiting fans happy to see how the saga continues, when everyone and their dog has already seen it, and are ready to bounce into the book based on how well (or badly) it compares to D&Dâs story? With all this, is there a real motivation for George to write it?
Yes, I know there are also lots of die-hard book fans who absolutely value his version better (myself included), but if we have seen anything over the recent GoT years, it is that their voices are increasingly drowned over by the voices of show-fansâŚ
Well said, @ladytp. I think GRRM feels this too. Thatâs why heâs able to focus on the worldbuilding but not the conclusion. He can add new information and historical context that canât be compared to the show.
