Ohh hold on, realization about a Vocaloid song In "Micchan has a reputation for copycat suicides" (and the Lily cover, Ricchan) - 'Micchan' and 'Ricchan' are from the 'mi' and 'ri' at the end of Gumi and Lily's names respectively (this i already knew)

This is because copycat suicide (後追い自殺) has 後追い, meaning chasing/trailing after; therefore, their nicknames include the part which trails after the first part of their names. 'Mi' trails after 'Gu', 'Ri' trails after 'Ri' (so for Lily if we wanted to romanize it, it would be Ly-cchan rather than Li-cchan)

i'm going through and making a list of manga i've read to efficiently categorize them into my spreadsheet i'm making and it's inspired me to pick some of them back up (victims of the 'i forgot to keep reading things i enjoy' curse); starting kanata kara back up and it's really interesting to compare and contrast it with modern isekai stuff. for instance, comparatively more time is spent on the actual transportation - and though specific titles are slipping my mind right now, i feel like a lot of modern works will kinda just wave it off in like a panel or two, if any.
