Spiderman Goering
A fine example of how all Nazi-related blogs are serious. Things just got real! ;)
Hermann Goering (2 pix) - Enthusiastic “Sieg Heil” & Cape walk, circa Kristallnacht (gifs)
Hermann Goering & Adolf Hitler - Fegelein photobomb (gif)
Hermann Goering (6 pix) - Weapons inspection (gifs)
I needed one more gif at the end so I just made combination.
Luftwaffe record spinning (gif)
Speer und er (8 pix)
A few photos from the mini-series.
Pic #1: Hitler & Speer (Sebastian Koch & Tobias Moretti) Pic #2: Goering & Goebbels (Hannes Hellmann & Wilfried Hochholdinger) Pic #3: Speer Pic #4: Hess (André Hennicke) Pic #5: Goering & Hitler Pic #6-8: Hitler
darkstoriesofthenorth reblogged your photoset “Hermann Goering (10 pix) - Random; Nuremberg Trials”
Ooh, good luck! And I haaaaaaaate that, especially when it's a documentary and they should know better!
Took one of our dogs to a new vet yesterday. The vet's last name started with "Heil----" and he had some Goering-ish qualities. Not quite 100% masculine, big fellow, charming, etc.
Hermann Goering - Arrest interview, edit
I liked this pic from one of the gifs I made so I made a thing.

That photo of him in a robe (after a sauna?) with his legs exposed might be the closest we get!
And the one of him wearing a robe at the beach!

Must be in some undiscovered photo albums/archives somewhere! Though I suspect if there were (and he knew about them), he may have had them destroyed... I think he liked to be very buttoned up and neat all the time :/
True. I totally need a time machine. I'm going back and getting some good photos of that man whether he likes it or not.
goeringandme reblogged your photo and added:
Göring looks totally irresistible here.
I'd prefer hands in pants pockets but this is close enough. And that stance! Ooh, now I wish there were pix (unless I forget there are) with him in a loose tie, top button undone, messy hair, etc etc!
Hermann Goering (2 pix) - Talking to pilots (gifs)
Still got some old gifs I never got around to posting.
goeringandme replied to your post “So I was looking through my folders of pix looking for a few I wanna...”
Did you make the unicorn one?!
Sadly, yes, lol!
This short clip is incredibly sad and compelling.
When Göring surrended to the Americans in full military regalia on May 8, 1945, he expected to be treated as the emissary of a defeated people and a prisoner of war.
Here, you can see a proud and arrogant man, swaggering a bit, enjoying the attention of being filmed. I love the little turn he does at the end to let the camera get one more look at him :). He’s obeying his captors though (with white surrender armband?) and going where he’s told.
Of course the Reichsmarschall was shocked when ultimately his medals and Marshall’s baton were taken away and he became a war criminal (his daughter Edda said the medals (including WWI ones) and also his baton were never returned to the family).
I’m sad at the pride, hope and yet defeat in his eyes. He doesn’t know what’s yet to come.
Wonder if he woulda done things differently if he had known the outcome. Maybe go in there knocking stuff over and causing a big fuss while he could. I like the footage right before (I think) this where they zoom in more and his eyes look gorgeous (though they look good here, too). Always hated seeing these moments where they made him think he was somebody and then the top guy said to stop treating him so well. I can’t believe they let him hold onto his gun as long as they did. Can’t even imagine how they woulda treated Hitler if he were there instead!
I haven’t seen the whole movie- does one exist or are there just lots of short clips? Would love to see them zoom in on his eyes.
I bet he would have tried to escape to Argentina with his family if he’d known how things would turn out. Wish he had.
Would have been the better option, I'm sure! They were all mini-clips when I saw them. I think the FramePool ones are all on their own site as well as YouTube. If only it were in colour!
If I wore a dagger like that, it would get stuck on everything I got near. ‘Gibbles’ looks so tiny!
Goering: Did you eat my cake? Goebbels: No. How could you accuse me of such a felony.
