Elle says the last part with some fondness. There is still a churning in her gut, but she knows she has to let it go. Which she will do. For Adrian. And for herself.
At Mekhai’s explanation, Elle lets out a snort. “I love Landon, but Adrian’s annoying brain is part of his assholery, but you can put down a galleon from your own wallet down in my name. It will be one of the fifteen you owe me for my shoes.”
“And as I genius, I’ve got to be blunt. I can see that you care deeply about Adrian but I also know what he can do to hurt you. Landon gets the girls because he’s nice and really awkward, he’s the typical boy next door. Though Adrian, is the prime example of that post you see on social media. It’s just a fair warning, I’ve seen him do things that aren’t considered moral. Bad habits die hard but considering you guys aren’t dating he should be out with someone else currently.”
Another sip and a refreshed sigh leaves his lips. “I’m just stating facts, don’t kill the messenger.” He turns is head to his phone slightly and then back at Elle, “Also, I know you’re close with Alastor Moody. Tell her this, if she has a problem with me being with Snake then she should yell at me not randomly yell at her for no reason. And to be honest, I’m not sure Sophia is will ever be willing to fix their friendship.”
