Prism  (PART 1 OF 4)

»It's a sunny Sunday about 9 in morning The neighbourhood’s dead.

most inhabitants are snoring A young girl in a floral dress has spotted her dads face and throws herself in his loving embrace.

The man’s spins her in the air until she's almost falling

it had been about 8 months since she'd last saw him

He was in the army oversees touring.

»They talked for hours not realising it was late She never wanted to see him go away

but he knew deep down he chose to live his life this way

to be in control of her fate.

He left he told her to be strong

and that there were people needing his help and he wouldn't be long

as her & and her mom drove him off to the base tears streaming,

they couldn't hide their pain but he kept the fake smile on his face

»They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder

the girl smiled at her dad as he told her

till this day she replays this in her head

6 years later he returned

an empty shell was all that was left

his mind was still in the battlefield

Replaying every death the stench the screams, bodies grotesquely separated from heads

Or his comrade’s stiff bodies after bullets had tasted their deaths

»It's like his previous self-had been erased his countries victory had been earned but at what price they had learned the man who left wasn't the one who returned

Haven't posted in a while this is something light i will sometimes cover society but i will be mainly focusing on sad tales & more depressing themes as thats sadly what i've experieced more in life and im comfortable to cover but if you have anything bothering you guys hit me up suffering in silence isnt the way.

Have you ever felt it before

Mistreated by the one you should adore

All these years and the feelings still raw

Thats why i'm I'm cold hearted to the core.

Guys this is short but im going to try and post a full length poem a least once weekly, I work a warner music now so i've been getting used to my new job but i'll be active once again, I havet forgot the people who gave me topics to write on and i am open to writing based on your suggestions.

There’s been better days

I’m about to be erased

The ocean just underneath me

But you can see the grimace in my face

The fuck did I end up here ?

To even me it’s unclear

I’ve been reckless lately

Doing things I would never dare

Living life without fear

So As I’m free falling

It’s my love ones I’m calling

But as of late

It’s them I’ve inflicted pain on

They’ve looked up and

Stayed strong

So As I’m falling to my death

Thinking if I had another chance at life

I’d give it my absolute best.

As the water hits my face

I’m woken up the cold dribble in its place

I’m back in my bed.

Catalyst (Dahlia PT2)

-She walked over to me smiling I swear didn’t know what to do becuase of all the doubts in my mind I could never say the words to you

-So we got talking eventually got to know eachother even meeting up and skipping school together One day she told me she told me she never had a true lover boys would hurt her all the time she would recover but don’t play because she couldn’t take another

-After school we used to sit on high hill talk about our dreams and how we used to feel We could talk about anything She was thinking of travelling and studying medicine no matter what the deal I told her i was here

-This day was different She said she wanted to take me somewhere special So I agreed I’d go anywhere for her as long as she was pleased

-This time she took me too a field The beautiful flowers set the scene never had in my life had i seen so much green She picked up a flower and placed it in a jar of water she held

-She told me the flower was a Dahlia just like her name and if i took care of it things would always be the same It was then i noticed something was wrong

-So I acted in the way she’d expect Staring in the distance while i kissed her on the neck smiled and waved as she left When I got home I stared at the plant on the desk and noticed a small ribbon note attached on the neck -I read it and wept It said she left for a new life tommorow in the west and she wished me all the best like i told her too she was following her dreams with no regrets.

-That was the highest point of my life now it’s filled with sorrow as I tell you this story lips pressed to the bottle

Dahlia  Pt 1

So… I was always in the same place But never stood out Wasn’t the type of guy Ms popular would know about But I knew of you back then no doubt. I was warned against it but I let my heart tempt me every time we locked eyes it’s like my words left me. I’d smile when I’d see you twirl in your dress Just the see you every day I felt blessed But I couldn’t help this sinking feeling sitting in my chest. That one day in Class Our futures were aligned For the school project My partner was assigned For a split second I thought she would object But she had a bright smile as she walked over to my desk…. Wanna hear the rest... <=> Kurai 20+ notes and I'll post the next part tommorow
