NAC: What is "Banana Well"?
Haha, somebody that Melanie works with, Josh Mckie, whoâs a Director of Photography, released what was supposedly an official document that had âMelanie Martinez âBanana Wellââ on it. Some fans believe that it will be an official song for the next album, and others believe that the name was a temporary placeholder for another song title that Melanie and Josh didnât have yet when it was placed. A lot of fans disliked it because they thought the title was too strange. Anyhow idea that Banana Well as a new song was real escalated on Twitter and Instagram until fans started asking Melanie about it, and supposedly she DM'ed someone that it was fake.
Afterwards, the name Banana Well was taken off the document and replaced with just "Melanie Martinezâ. Itâs still not really known if the name was real or not, seeing as many fans donât believe that the Twitter DM was real either (Melanie has never DM'ed a fan something like that and apparently her DMâs are private?).
