Okay this is the last one I’ll dump here tonight! My contribution to a secret Santa art trade I participated in on Discord 😄 the character’s name is Theo, and he belongs to BarleyPuff on Instagram. I had a lot of fun drawing him 💕

Another piece of fan art I did for one of my comic making friends 👀 This is Vee from Drecular’s Webtoon, “As I Am,” which is a story about friendship and mental health. Definitely recommend!

This was a drawing I did back in the summer for a friend who also has a webcomic! Er... had one, anyway. Her comic is currently on hiatus and for a while she was thinking of deleting it, but i think now she’s reboot it, so that’s pretty cool.

I haven’t been on tumblr for a long time cuz I was busy finishing my PhD but happily I remembered the password so im’a post some stuff. It’s a little embarrassing looking at this blog because my art was so bad when I started >.< it’s still not that great, but I’ve improved a lot since the last time I posted, since I had nothing to do during the pandemic but draw.

I decided to redo my comic and try it on webtoons/tapas. Will be launching on those platforms in mid-January. Might put it on tumblr too but idk :/

Also.... here is this thing I made. In retrospect I’d wish I’d done something different with the backgrounds, but I’m so bad at digital art, and it already took me a billion hours to colour the characters... so I got a bit lazy with the backgrounds. This is *almost* the full cast of Millennials. There are two or three secondary characters that don’t appear here, but the twelve I chose to feature are the major players. Some don’t appear until later in the story, but by the end of episode 2 you’ll have met everyone in the first two rows. :)

Gee, I’m sporadic with this blog. I’d apologize but since there’s not much of a readership, I reckon it doesn’t matter. I haven’t said much about this scene, in part because Life has been taxing my spirit heavily of late, but it’s an important one that sets into motion one of the central struggles of the comic (the value clash between baby boomers and Millennials.) It’s also the scene that acquaints the reader with Dick’s personal struggle: how to get through this life when all you really want to do is make art.

I just had the worst weekend of my life, and uhh............. I’m not going to blog about that. Here’s page 22. I would say something about it but I haven’t eaten or slept in days and I Just Can’t. I’m still kickin’ though. Feebly, but more fiercely in time.

Whoops I didn’t go on Tumblr for a bit.. anyone still using this site? Doesn’t matter, I s’pose. This is page 21, and it’s the first of many strained interactions between Dick and his dad. If you found Dick annoying and entitled at the beginning of this episode.... you may feel even more that way by the end of this scene :) FYI: you can search this blog for specific pages by using the hashtags #page1, #page2, #page3, etc.
