Watched too many action films and played too many games back in the day. Guess these are the types of things I ended up making.

Julien Baker is my favorite singer songwriter. Her music really moves me, and helps me when I'm struggling. So I painted this thing, a tribute I guess

Last thing for the year.

Pops came here all the way back in ‘79.

Jobs were hard to come by for a while, but he ended up making a living fixing trucks. People have always said he’s good with tools.

After mom’s passing he took up drinking, and he’s never looked back since.

Mom died when Lee was only 2, he never really remembered how she actually looked like. He carries this photo of her in his wallet. Every now and then he looks at it and imagines what she was like. Sometimes he wished he could miss her more..

This one’s a relative quicky, I wanted to experiment a bit. I like how it turned out.

Her name’s Grace, and that’s her brother Lee.They haven’t seen each other in a long time. They’re both back in the hometown for poppa’s 55th. Mom died when they were young, pops raised them both pretty much on his own. There were some women every now and then, none of them sticked.

Grace moved out of town once high school ended. There was someone.. They used to be friends.. but then things are different, she couldn’t stay.

Lee wanted to leave, but felt guilty for leaving pops alone. So he stayed, doing odd jobs around town. It’s been 9 years...

I tried real hard to make them look as good as I can, it’s a struggle.

Been difficult trying to draw anything. Her clothes is very neglected.

A portrait for a D&D npc I have for my game. I wanted to make a portrait akin to those old top down rpgs. He’s the sheriff for a small mountain town. Not really happy with how it turned out. Felt a bit generic and lacking character.

Trying to paint proper characters, but hitting a wall. decided to do something quick and brainless instead.

Her name’s Jean. She likes skating and booze. She studies philosophy to spite her parents. Not the happiest with the results, but at least it’s more than anything I’ve done before.

Something I’ve abandoned. I was too ambitious, while the image in my head is too vague, and changes too much, and I didn’t plan it out at all. I’ll revisit it one day.
