I’m sure wherever she is, she’s eating and drinking just fine. I’ll take your word that she’s as ‘impressionable’ as you say, but she’s a smart girl, and she can handle herself.

Of course she can love. I have full faith, but that does not stop me from worrying that other people are as good as she is and that she can stop others on her own. She is just a small girl, she can only do so much damage.

“I-I’ll try… I can… keep a lookout here… tell her y-you’re looking for her… i-if I see her…” PJ hated that that was all he could do. But he wasn’t about to break the rules that had been laid down by the aurors. Rules that, no matter how frustrating they were, had been laid down to keep him safe. Rules that were going to keep what happened back in Hogsmeade from happening again here, so long as he followed them.

“No I need more than that. I need an eye on her at all times, especially at school. You have classes with her yes? You can be sure she is safe, keep tabs on her? Oh the poor dear, she is probably scared out of her mind.”

“She is small, a hufflepuff, and her name is Roza.” She said listing these frantically. “Have you seen her? Have you?”

“No.” Melissa said bluntly. She hated when people did that. They did not deserve a moment more of her time. Turning quickly Melissa reach out ‘accidentally’ spilling her hot tea all over the girl. “Oh goodness! I am so sorry love! At least I fixed your horrid shirt... but... You are a mess.”

“I-I can’t…” PJ shrunk back, away from her, finding himself more than a little glad there was a counter between the two of them. “I-I mean…. I don’t… know where she i-is…” When was the last time he’d even seen Roza?  “I-I haven’t seen her since I was i-in Hogsmeade last…”

“Then you need to find her love.” She said the weight of the world felt as if it collapsed on her shoulders as she hung her head in near tears. She needed to find the girl and fast or all plans she had were going to be torched as Melissa lost interest. “You will find her for me won’t you love? I need to know where she is... That poor dear.”
