I have so much to say about this game, and everyone always seems to disagree with me, but here goes...

Pierre's behavior, while super annoying and rude, is somewhat understandable.

His wife slept with the wizard? And he looks at his daughter every day and wonders if she's even biologically his??? That's so painful, because it is evident that he LOVES Abigail regardless.

This completely explains why he is so competitive, why he is obsessed with being successful, with being enough, with being The Best. He does everything he can, even if it comes off as arrogant, just to know with confidence that Caroline loves him.

That being said, I still don't like him, I'm not trying to change anyone's mind about him. I'm just saying, I kind of get it.
