“A lot of the time it just means I miss out on a social life, time and money isn’t something that you easily come by when you’re a full time student and living on your own, but lets hope that in two years time I still thinks it’s worth it. “

“It might not seem like it at the time but trust me, education always is. There’ll probably be low points where you’ll think you’ve wasted your time by putting limitations on your social life amongst other things but you haven’t. There’s always time to catch up on that. Besides, relationships can be such fickle things whereas your schooling can’t be taken from you again, am I right?”

“For the most time I remember, but not always. I have actually lost count on the amount of times I’ve woke up to find my surrounded by text books and notes. I’m a medical student, so a lot of knowledge to try and take in. I’m in my third year.. two more to go”

“Oh, that must be tough. Especially if you have to tackle work as well. I considered medicine for the blink of an eye but I don’t think I have any talent for it. I’m not that good with blood. At least that means you’ve already gotten through half of it, though. Surely, you can handle the rest. Maybe you just need a little help to figure out what time management method could work best for you and your situation.”

“It’s alright. If you were capable of texting just a little quicker with one hand, you wouldn’t have held it up at all, so.”

“Small and delicate is always good - unless it comes to male genitalia of course. You could go for your wrist and cover it up with big bracelets if needed, or perhaps the back of your neck? What’s holding you back?”

“Right, that’s-- not the best case scenario. Hmm...very, very good point to be honest. Those would be really easy to cover up. I don’t know, years of stalling maybe? I’ve waited for so long, I probably couldn’t spot the right time anymore even if it slapped me in the face.”

“I think I’ve forgotten what rest feels like, I literally feels as If I’m either at school or work and when I’m not it’s either more school work, eat or sleep. I don’t even think I have time for a private life but yeah, hopefully it’ll all be worth it in the end”

“At least you haven’t forgotten to eat yet. I sometimes nearly did during exam phase, because writing your final thesis on an empty stomach definitely improves your writing. Correcting the typos took almost as long as writing it in the first place. I’m sure it will be -- or well, what are you studying for? It sure sounds stressful enough to be a serious, no-fooling-around major.”

“But let’s say you were that spontaneous. What would you get?”

“Hmm.. I’m not sure but definitely something small and delicate. Most likely feminine. And at a spot that’s easy to hide for professionalism’s sake, even though this is the 21st century.”

“Oh thinking a its a day ahead than it actually is must suck, at least I was behind on my days. Though that isn’t exactly a good thing, it just means I’ve got less time to get these damn assignments done than I originally thought. I’m pretty sure my lecturer forgets I work and my boss forgets I study full time too.”

“Yeah, if you really think about it, I’m probably better off than you now. At least I don’t have to panic about being behind. But don’t get discouraged by that, I know all too well how you feel. The second half of my studies was literally just studying and work, zero private life if you wanted to get some rest. I’m sure you’ll see it’s worth it in the long haul though.”

“So, apparently it’s Thursday already. With working all night and being in school all day my days are starting to merge into one.”

“Wait, it’s Thursday?! Why did I think it’s Friday all morning...Oh God, the pages in my planner stuck together. Great. Goes to show how lost I am without it. Can it really be that hard for girls like us to keep track of time?”
