This is a scratchboard painting I did some months back. I listened to Watership Down while painting it, and I greatly underestimated emotional impact of the book. All of the rabbits ended up being named after characters, and I cried a little when Hazel died.

This, obviously, is a small section of the original painting. The original is enormous, and the details get very lost when it is scaled down. But, these are my two favorite rabbits and I almost like the composition in the print better!
