It's the way jin is taking his time with akin worshipping every part of his body and the way akin fully surrenders to his touches, and their kisses are the most intense and needy even feverish!!
I actually loved Mr Plankton but I still agree on some of the criticism regarding the ML’s toxic & questionable behaviors.. but I also think viewers should have the ability to watch things without boxing everything into black and white and simply enjoy things!
red flag this, green flag that like yall really live like this? not saying you should not be critical of the media u consume but this is a very simplistic way to look at things
finished mr plankton feeling like the most miserable girl on the planet. everything was off charts and fucking insane i cried like a baby. 10/10 drama of the month to me
Mr. Plankton [ Mr. 플랑크톤 ] (2024) (6/?) — Woo Do Hwan as Hae Jo | dir. Hong Jong Chan – Ep. 01
not now sweetie, mommy is watching how the massive girlbossification of female characters has led to the belief that weak and vulnerable female characters are badly written characters because apparently every woman needs to be outspoken and witty and snarky and brave in order to be considered “complex” and have any value in a piece of media!!
judge from hell giving me "touch HIM and you die" ooouuuu show of all time i fear
The fact that I can love you even more tomorrow than I did yesterday or today, makes me so incredibly happy.
WHAT COMES AFTER LOVE (사랑 후에 오는 것들) Episode 2, dir. Moon Hyun Sung
When you realize these two things.
Two things:
That scene in the finale which is bellissimo. PICTURE PERFECT. Because she is about to touch his hair/head and he bends down juuust enough because he craves her touch her affection her love really that much and also so that it's easier for her to reach him. Because even fitting into each other like puzzle pieces is not enough in that moment.
But then you also realize that she is reaching out to part his hair/bangs ever so slightly, almost absent-mindedly, because she is confirming he doesn't have a scar there, like he used to in the ALT 2023 timeline. He doesn't have it anymore. As if that's the last bit of evidence she needed for her own peace of mind, a silent verification, to make sure her Seon Jae is finally, really, safe. A proof that her prayer has been answered in the end.
Of course she knows. She's been there all along, after all. But after everything she--and they both--have been through, I don't think either of them can quite believe it in this moment. That this is it, it's over: she doesn't have to look for any impending doom coming his way, and he doesn't have to fear losing her to the most heartless adversary that is time.
I cannot gush enough on the writing of this show.
i know i sound obsessed with him BUT LIKE .. this is how you write male characters. he should be the norm not the exception. the way i was expecting him to be an asshole after sol changes the timeline and yet he's still the same dumb loser who loves her when he doesn't even know her 😭 i could die bro i understand he's fictional but he's simply the best person i know my guy doesn't have a hating bone in his body and no other man is doing it like him
not me seeing im sol slander on the timeline. she risked her whole life and went through different timelines to try and save the love of her life. she never thought about herself, and always put her family and sunjae first. yes she was a little bit annoying but which teenage girl isn’t? im sol doesn’t get enough credit for her sacrifices.
there's this line by poet séamus isaac fey that i believe applies perfectly to the penultimate timeline sol that had erased her memories from sunjae's mind: "i want to stop mourning you / before we've met."
i don't think we truly appreciate the sacrifice sol made to keep sunjae safe. she went back in time and erased all possibility of the greatest love she had ever experienced — she spent fifteen years mourning a person that technically didn't even exist: she loved a boy that only bloomed within the borders of her own memory.
can you imagine how lonely and exhausting it was for her? grieving for a boy who'd forgotten that he had gathered her face in his hands, once — had loved her once. not just forgotten — but entirely erased. keeping track of his movements and whereabouts so she'd be able to stay away from him: all to keep sunjae safe. anything to keep him safe.
sol's love for sunjae is so selfless and strong and noble. sunjae would die for her, but sol would live for him: suffer in silence, submit to the agony of separation; the yawning emptiness of time without being at his side. she was ready to go through it all. she DID go through it all.
we really don't give her enough credit. 💙💛
By the way, when are you going to stop calling her "My Sol?"
