wrote this when i realized i actually wanted a relationship with Finn instead of whatever we had going on, but he didn't
about my feelings towards Finn (and how scared i was of him just leaving
one of the last songs written for this album, written around a year after me an Finn stopped talking. mostly about how i felt about everything that happened
this was ab the MESSY ERA of me and Finns situationship, he was dating this girl he met at a party, and i was dating some guy i met at a songwriting class... yeah 😭
also during this era, i felt betrayed in a way seeing him get into a relationship so easily with someone not me, but also in a way about hoe i felt i was emotionally cheating on my boyfriend the entire time.
about how i was ruining my own relationships and hurting people just for Finn, while it felt like all he was doing was trying to hurt me
8. we can't be friends (wait for your love)
wrote this because i had to almost completely stop hanging around with the rest of the stranger things cast because i knew couldn't be around him or just be friends with him when i wanted to be with him.
this one was also kind of a reflection on everything that happened, but an a lot more emotional one
i was so angry when we made this song, angry about everything that happened just for us to completely cut contact, angry that he was acting like nothing happened... etc. this was just kinda all this anger being put into a song.

about all the cheating rumors going around and the hate i was recieving all because of my feelings towards Finn
