So I finished Yuka’s main attack and I’m just waiting on music (my brother is making my soundtrack this time around!) eeeeeee I love it though I am so excited with how it turned out.

I’m thinking of rewriting a story I wrote when I was 13. Since your kinda doing that do you have any tips for reworking an old story? It was called Leaving of the shadows, the story I tried animating (revenge of the mist) was its sequel.

I remember revenge of the mist, time flies! Not really tbh! I haven’t really changed anything lol. I think I am just so attached to the characters that it’s hard for me to re-imagine them. I did make small changes to keep it fresh though so my costumes and hero abilities etc. If you want to bring it back just alter some little things. You can do it, just have to start somewhere!

ok so have i ever told y’all how i got into animation in the first place

basically i was REALLY into magical girl fanime back in 2007 and i tried to make my own (i finished 2 transformations, which can be found here [X] and here [X]) but i never really went anywhere… I was just INCREDIBLY inspired by the big-name fanimes, the ones that actually GOT somewhere and had small followings, one of which was called “Eternal” by MelodyFan12. (Her name’s Sophie McGregor – she put her ACTUAL name on her stuff, which back on 2007 youtube was like. dude. badASS. her tumblr is @melodyfananimations.) 

here’s a pretty good sample of what it originally looked like [X] and she even made the whole first episode! which i downloaded a long time ago but has since been removed from youtube. T_T

BUT in 2014, my sophomore year of college, she started uploading some re-vamped versions of those transformations [X] [X] under the title “Eternal Reincarnation,” and y’alllll. i was almost crying. to see one of my IDOLS as a child growing and improving…. granted it’s not perfect, but it is leaps and bounds ahead of what it was. i’m just. hoooo boy

ive been wanting to cosplay the mc lately (Yuka, the pink one) but alas, time, money…..

(2 other fanimes I was into were “ELFS” by Rounzei and “Mahouseki” by Marim23. you can still find their stuff on youtube, i believe)

glad i and the rest of fanime circa 06 got you in to animation, it’s such a great and creative pass time, feels really great to finish a piece (not that i’d know lmao) and calling me your idol! I really don’t deserve that, i was just a 12 year old who liked anime! keep animating, sorry i suck, i will try and do more eventually, i’m just too busy adulting atm *sigh*

also if you cosplayed yuka or any of the girls i’d die that’s like the cutest thing i’ve ever heard thank you so much
