I vonlunteer for a taste test.
I feel like chocolate.
Well, I definitely feel melty in the sun.
So I'm guessing you're also delicious then?
I feel like chocolate.
Both? I donât know. How does a chocolate feel like? I mean, is it happy orâŠ?
Dunno about happy but I imagine it would feel soft and sweet on the inside. And melty in the sun.
I feel like chocolate.
So like a yummy delicious treat that want's to be eaten? Or like eating a yummy delicious treat?

Calypso & Melody || Flying on Water
Calypso nodded at every word that came out of her mouth, trying to pay attention and comprehend everything that was said. âOk. Spot in the center is E, kind of like the center of gravity. Got it.â She said, indicating that it was alright for her to continue. Her right foot hit the water. For her, it didnât matter if the water was cold or hot, it was always perfect, and she tended to take her time when she planned on getting wet. She closed her eyes for a moment as she enjoyed the sensation of being reunited with her element once again before letting her left foot submerge itself in the tepid water.Â
It burned mildly as it touched the water, and Callie opened her eyes, surprised at whatever was happening. She didnât remember the last time her sigil had felt anything out of the ordinary, probably because it had never happened. Lifting her leg, she took a look at her extremity, inspecting it to see if anything sharp had indented itself in the soft skin of the sole of her foot. She was practically ignoring everything else happening around her, and retreated into her own world for a few moments until she affirmed that there was nothing on her foot except her sigil. As soon as she put her foot back down, she gave her instructor a perplexed look before her eyes widened and she waded over quickly to her side. With each step closer, her sigil burned that much worse.
Melody gave Calypso a friendly smile, as if to congratulate her quick learning and assimilation. To Melody this was second nature and hardly warranted any kind of praise, but she knew that people weren't necessarily on her level and she had herself learned as an instructor that encouragement was a really effective teaching method. It gave confidence and confidence was definitely necessary for extreme sports of any kind, nautical or otherwise. As Callie stepped in to the water however, Melody's face contorted in pain out of the blue, as her shin heated up. Her smile, now a frown, gave her face an alarmed (and alarming) expression. Her eyes glided back up to Calypso, and she was temporarily distracted from the pain by the sight of the other girl inspecting the sole of her foot.
As the the other girl neared, her pain increased, and she took in sharp breaths, trying to regain her composure. Melody cleared her throat, her voice slightly hoarse, accentuating its naturally throaty quality as she fought to ignore the sting in her leg. "Are- are you okay? Did you step on anything?" Calypso was her student in this moment, therefore her responsibility and under her care and supervision. She could worry about herself later. She took a few steps forward, towards her, biting the inside of her cheek to refrain from expressing anything other than concern for Callie and reached out "here, let me see..."
"First I make you feel bad, but like a bell boy I take care of your bags"
Been working all day.
Completely insane.
In the membrane!
Calypso & Melody || Flying on Water
Calypsoâs smile widened as the other girlâs rambling continued. Sort of like she did sometimes, the excessive amount of words that left her mouth that ended in a simple âyeahâ or something like that. She wasnât really sure what she should say, if she should show her her mark  or not, but decided against it. If Melody happened to notice it, sheâd just shrug it off just like she did. Of course, not everyone would be checking out her feet. After her little speech, there wasnât really time for a response, so she just grinned and went along with whatever she said. Melody was much taller than she was. Calypso was about 5â 3â where the other girl was about 4 inches taller. Still, being short had never stopped her from getting anything before, and high heels existed for a reason.
Following her out the door, Callie exited the shop and inhaled the salty air deeply. The beach was her favorite place on Hoku Lewa, aside from the beautiful lake she had found a couple of days previous. The sun was high in the sky, and she loved how everything looked. The trees were swaying and the waves were perfect as far as she knew it. She was practically bouncing with excitement, anything new was something she always approached with enthusiasm. Walking over to the water, she  let the edge of the water touch her toes and sighed in contentment. She made her way back to her instructor before she could get wet, even though she was dying to get into the water. âSo, what do I need to know?â She asked, a bright smile on her face.
Melody watched her move about along the beach and to the water. She licked her lips through her smile as the smaller girl came back to her and asked, nodding. "Definitely. There's actually quite a few things you need to know before you hit the water since this is your first time." She laid down the equipment just out of reach of the water on the beach before walking towards the waves. "Personally I'd think a good place to start would be to get in the water, just to get wet and used to the temperature don't you think? And while we're swimming or wading around, I can give you a bit of a theoretic course." She closed her eyes and breathed in the salty air deeply, as her feet hit the water, her skin reacting immediately to the temperature contrast. She glanced over her shoulder at Calypso and signaled for her to come, as she kept stepping in deeper.
"So the first thing you need to know, there's a spot in the centre of the sail that the total wind effect acts on called the 'centre of effort' and marked as E. It kind of acts like the centre of gravity in physics." Melody was now waist deep in the water, suppressing any giggles that may've been caused by the cooler water hitting the warm skin of her stomach. She preferred wearing bikinis in general but that was probably one of the disadvantages. She turned slightly to the side, to observe Callie's reactions, and make sure she understood what she was talking about and whether or not it was clear. The sea was relatively calm today, so she wasn't too worried about waves, but she always knew rule number one: never turn your back to the ocean. Just in case. She'd probably feel it if the winds or waters shifted suddenly, but the force of habit is a powerful thing.Â
I don't like the days I don't work.
I love the water. Iâm sorry I donât think I got your name.Â
Melody. Galestorm. And you are?
Been working all day.
Yeah. Sandwiches, chips, chocolate! Thankfully, not enough to hurt them.
People are so silly.
I don't like the days I don't work.
I donât know. Do you have any suggestions? You seem very opinionated.Â
There's a scuba diving shop that offers lessons and tours. There's a tennis court, a casino a mini golf course to name but a few things... I don't know you so I don't know what you'd like. Myself I'm partial to nautical sports.
Been working all day.
Great. Made more of a mess than usual after the riding lessons yesterday. Some tourists donât get not to feed the animalâs their lunch.
Like... their sandwiches?
