I've been in such a witchy mood lately.

It's partially the fact that autumn is here... But it's more than that: recently I've reconnected with my true self, and I've remembered just how powerful I am, and I've refused to give that power up in order to make other people happy—and it feels AMAZING!

I'm not going to stop living authentically, living my best life, living as my best self, just to make other people feel better about how things are going for them; I'm not going to stop growing and evolving and metamorphosing, just to make other people feel comfortable in their not doing so; I'm not going to tune down how genuinely happy and cheerful and excited I am like 90% of the time just because other people are grouchy; I'm not going to stop making magic—even when the muggles steal my wand and my spell books and my Nimbus 2000 and lock them up in a cupboard! 

I am not giving up my individual power.  It is my right and responsibility to live my life to the fullest—whatever that means to me.  Maybe you think witchcraft is all about creating circles of salt and chanting incantations—and I'm sure it does look like that for some people—but for me, witchcraft, being a witch, is all about personal power, and reminding myself of that power every single day...
