It's quiet.... to quiet
I have noticed the same things. I hope it isnât the hunger gamesâŠ.that sounds rather scary.
Being in the hunger games does sound scary if that ever happens, Iâm hiding in a tree, or maybe team up with someone who would protect me.
I would do that, we should team up!

He smiled seeing her calm down as he Zane realized they were almost done eating and decided it was time to stop the oh so seriousness of the situation and finish the chips and have fun. He hoped he wouldnât have a another anxiety attack, another weird freak out. But nonetheless whatever happened he would force himself to get back to normal. He wasnât going to get caught, especially not in an amusement park. He took another chip and seeing their hands were still in place slightly wiggeld his hand, moving slightly away.
âUh, baseball.â he mumbled before shrugging his shoulders, âI donât mind though, I ainât much of a runner but making home runs is my thing.â he grinned remembering the days of running bases and hitting home runs, the smell of peanuts and victory in the air. He smiled weakly at Melody trying to get out of the nostalgic feeling, âOh just wait.â he whispered. She was saying that now, but once she found out he was a murderer, a crazy guy with voices in his head, then sheâll be freaked out. When she mentioned something about him being fine he nodded and laughed, âWhy thank ya, but youâre nice lookinâ too.â he shrugged not trying to be as flirty but a more sincere, like he was seeing in this situation. He got up once Melody was ready to go, looking at their hands, still together he shrugged and nodded, âSure.â
Melody smiled, and looked at him. They started to walk, and she went up to the ticket counter. She wasn't sure what he wanted to do. Removing his hand from hers, to talk to the person, she felt a little weird. She liked his company and his hand in hers, but she felt like she might be rushing something. Maybe she was, and she didn't want that to happen. Normally she did, and with him she didn't want to. They weren't even dating. Shrugging it off, she came back to the situation. The ticket person was looking at her, and she decided to get the two wristbands. "Can we have two wristbands please?" The person nodded his head, and looked like he didn't want to be there. He probably was just there for the money. Taking out her wallet, she paid the guy, and then got the wrist bands. She turned and looked at Zane. "Hand please." And she put the wristband around his wrist.
She put hers on, and then put her wallet in her purse, and started to walk. She looked around to see what they should go and see. There were a lot of rides, roller coasters everything. She looked at him and wrapped her arm around his, and kept walking. She just really liked someone being there. "What do you want to do first?"

He laughed at her comment and shook his head, âReally? You like my aintâs and everything.â Zane shook his head at that remembering the days people would mention it or something of the sorts. Sure there were people with similar accents, similar ways of talking. But when moved to California people start to poke at it and Zane would shrug it off, slightly angry, but shrug it off. Hearing Melody talk about it made him smile, made him a bit happier as he grinned nodding his head taking  a chip to eat some too.
âI try to be a good boy, maybe Southern too.â he laughed softly, âI like baseball, actually was captain of my team and pie and everything, stereotypes I know, but I ainât gonna judge.â he felt her hand on his and he let it lay there, the feeling of another hand, any sort of contact with him, to his own body making Zane smile, even if it was a crack of his lips into an upward motion he was still smiling, he was still happy. He was still excited to feel Melody do something as simple as put her hand on top of his as he looked at her, âYouâre not scaring me one bit, Iâm surprised I donât scare you.â he shrugged, âIâm getting closer to you too and itâs kinda nice I mean, youâre not rushing it. Itâs okay.â
Melody relazed a little bit when he placed his hand on hers. It made her feel like she was accepted, and nothing was being rushed. She liked him, a lot. She really did. She wanted to get to know him more. He told her about the basketball, but she knew there was more. He wasn't telling her something, but maybe he just wanted more trust. He could trust her, but she understood it. She had trust issues too. She let it go and just looked up at him. "I love your aint's it is a part of you. It makes me smile. Melody took a chip and dipped it in the dip. There weren't many chips left, so they were going to start having to head out soon but that was okay. She was ready to go and have some fun. She got what she wanted to get off her chest so it wasn't as bad.
"You were on the basketball team? Nice, I don't know how to play. I am not that very good at sports, I can only run, as you know. Besides that nothing, you are a mighty find looking basketball player." It slipt out of her mouth, and she hoped that he wouldn't care to much. It was her being flirtatious but not even trying to be at the same time. "You don't scare me, not yet at least. I don't think you will. You are who you are, and I like that." They finished the chips, and she got up and ut it on the trash can. Walking back over she grabbed her purse and looked at him, "You ready for some rides?" She said taking his hand in hers.
It is too quiet....
The forest || Melody and Tristan
Tristan gazed at the pie, looking at it just as he had when he had first come face to face with popcorn and ice cream. He was honestly slightly scared, for Melodyâs sake. He really hoped that he wouldnât get hyper, since, apparently, he would get hyper off of random foods that he had never tried before. He glanced over to the side, seeing Melody quickly wipe her eye, but a few moments later, the situation lightened. Another thing Tristan had never tried was coffee. But two things at once may of been a bit much. Besides, he had read that it contained a lot of caffeine. Not the best for him either. A slight smile flickered across his face as she found her âperfectâ coffee. âPictureâŠ?â he asked, looking past her ear. Gods, he couldnât even look people in the eye, so he wasnât exactly photogenic. He took the fork and grinned. âI sure hope n-not,â he said in a slight tease, taking a bite. âItâs good,â he nodded, smiling slightly.
Melody snapped the picture and giggled. He looked adorable, he was adorable. He was a good friend to her, and vice versa. How could people get along so well after just meeting once? She didn't know him all that well, but she hoped to. She smiled and then took a bite of hers and smiled. "Yes! Yay! One memory down, and one thing accomplished!" She said raising her hands over her head like there was a touch down or something. People probably thought she was weird, but she really didn't care. She was herself and she wasn't afraid to be herself. Smiling once more than drinking her coffee. She finished the pie, and there was one more bite left for him, so he could try hers. "This last piece is for you, I want you to try this one too." She said with a smile and then turning to him. They never finished their round of question game. "What about continuing the question game? We didn't finish it! I think we should finish playing it! So you ask me a question." She said with a smile and giving him a light shove.
It's quiet.... to quiet
Whatâs going on? Where did everyone go? Am I in a horror movie and everyone else is dead? Or maybe Iâm in the Hunger Games?
I have noticed the same things. I hope it isn't the hunger games....that sounds rather scary.
The forest || Melody and Tristan
In this way, Tristan was so happy that he had been home schooled by tutors. Although they had eventually stopped coming, Tristan had continued to teach himself. At home, he had no outside people trying to influence him, no one to judge him, or make fun of him. He had grown up being comfortable with who he was. On the flip side, he struggled with if he had to change now, since he was around multiple people. Then there was his hesitation around people in general, since he wasnât used to being around more than two at a time. Tristan just nodded, listening to Melody. That must of been horrible. Then again, he knew what it felt like. Not want to tell people things. For fear of getting judged. A frown flickered across his face. âI⊠Iâm sorry⊠that, that you had to, to live through th-thatâŠâ he said quietly. Tristan looked at a point on her cheek. âHey, I, I have no reason to j-judge you,â he started out seriously, before his face slipped into a small grin. âEs-Especially if Iâve n-never had p-pie,â he finished, his voice falling into a slight tease. He looked up as they got the two pieces and Melody got her coffee and then curiously watched as she fixed hers.
Melody smiled, and whipped a little tear that was forming in the corner of her eye. She needed to stop crying so much, it was going to be bad for her. She looked at him and nodded her head laughing a little bit. He knew how to lighten a situation with was good. She felt bad that he was feeling a little bit bad for her. Normalyl she didn't like it when people felt bad for her. It made her feel a little guilty for telling people what was wrong. Shaking it off she continued to make her coffee, pouring everything in. Taking a sip, she realized it was too bitter and added more sugar. He probably thought she was weird, because she added so much sugar and stuff in her coffee. It was basically taking everything out of the coffee, but the actual caffeine that was in the coffee to begin. When she was done, she took a sip. "Perfect." She clapped her hands and then turned to him, "Okay so this will be your first taste of pie, and so I will have to take a picture of this." She said pulling out her phone and waiting for him to take a bite of the pie. She didn't want to just sit there and wait, so she took his fork and scooped up a bite for him. Then she put it on the plate. "Don't be scared try it! I am not going to poison you, I promise." She said with a little giggle.

Zane nodded to Melodyâs words laughing softly, âAs long as you donât think Iâm crazy or stupid.â he rolled his eyes at his joke suddenly happy that the subject changed from his soon to be breakdown to then what Melody had to tell him. He grabbed a chip, chewed slowly and looked at her intently as Melody started talking, hanging onto every word he listened intently, letting everything come through before he smiled nodding his head to show he was paying attention.
Then Melody started crying and Zane, though having a blank face, felt bad and grabbed the napkins behind him wiping Melodyâs cheeks before offering one to her.
âYou ainât gotta tell me anything you donât want to if you want to be friends.â he shrugged his shoulders and chuckled giving Melody a quick smirk, âAnd you ainât ruining anything you gotta stop worrying.â he chuckled and shrugged his shoulders again, âYou ainât gotta do anything that makes you uncomfy, I can barely tell you about myself and we just met so itâs okay. When youâre ready youâre ready and I can wait.â
Melody looked at him, and flinched a little bit when he whipped the tears from her cheek. She wasn't used to that type of comfort. She missed it, even the touch of his hand on her cheek. She felt a little bit bad for spilling it all out to him. She got a chip and dipped it in dip and started chewing and looking at him when he talked. He said ain't a lot. Was he a good southern boy at heart. She bit her lip and let out a little giggle.
"I like your little ain't and everything. It makes me feel like you are a good southern boy at heart. I do need to take you to Nashville." She said and then coming back to what they were talking about. He couldn't tell her about himself, and it made her a little bit sad. Why couldn't he tell her everything? Was she like not supposed to tell him that stuff yet? Or was he just sheltering himself from her? She turned towards him and placed a hand on his. "I can though, I just feel horrible for rushing out on you and that is the reason why I told you all of that. All of that was all the truth. I am sorry that I ran out on you, I am just scared to get close to someone, and I am starting to get close to you and it scares me. But, I think I can do it." She looked at him, hoping she wasn't scaring him. "I hope I am not scaring you."
