Good morning and Happy Friday to all! It's been a warm week here in the UK, so I hope you've all been enjoying the sun and staying hydrated :)

I for one have been soaking up the sun plenty (and accidentally burnt my shoulders like a dumbass) and have been doing plenty of painting!

This week is probably going to be a little one-off depending on how this post does, but I've been working on some Warhammer Fantasy miniatures for the first time — and to mark the occasion, here's my very own Edmark Valoran from the Darkwater TTRPG box set!

I'll be honest, painting fantasy has been a *struggle* for me because I lack inspiration for the most part; that, and my Iron Warriors are so much simpler to paint lololol

Good Mythical Morning and a happy Friday to all!

This week I have something a bit different for you all:

I got myself a cheap Stormtalon Gunship at the local hobby store and decided to paint it up for my Iron Warriors! Now they have some CAS to support their armoured column :)

I'm quite pleased with how this turned out!

🚧 It's the weekend once more and that means it's time for my weekly Warhammer progress blog! 🚧

This week is nothing too fancy, just hammering out a scheme for my MKII assault marines I've been sitting on since last October (oops)

I tried a new weathering technique for his heavy chainaxe and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out!

a bit late to this week's post but a belated Happy Friday to you all and I have something special to share with you this week :)

Last Saturday I found this little fella on sale in my local hobby shop for cheap and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to pick it up for myself. The Scorpius Missile tank is probably one of my favourite - if not my full time favourite - chassis of tank for Warhammer 30K/40K and is one that I had not yet owned myself. The reason this is so special to me is because I first saw the design in the old Horus Heresy Drop Assault mobile game (RIP) as a kid and fell in love with how cool the design looked!

I'm happy that this isn't collecting dust anymore and will serve me and my legion well in the games to come :)

Fun fact; this exact model is why I wanted to start an Iron Warriors army to begin with!

I've got some good news and bad news; I've been sick so I've been falling behind schedule for my painting (that and Elden Ring has me in it's iron claws and I am not escaping anytime soon) but the good news is I have prepared in advance!

Here is a (mostly) completed Vindicator featuring very tasteful hazard stripes on the shovel blade to warn the loyalists that their fortifications are next. A few decals and some extra bits here and there and it'll be fully completed!

This week follows our heavily armoured trend from the Saturnine Dreadnought with another armoured fighting vehicle - the humble Predator! This variant has the triple Volkite threat for all my anti-infantry needs. I had a lot of fun painting this one, and there are two more on the way ;)

Happy Friday everyone, I hope we've all had a good week! Things have been busy on my end and projects have been slowing down, but that doesn't mean they're stopping entirely; I've got some spicy new minis in the world and I'm excited to share what I've got for you this time.

This week I've got some special Kill Team minis that I've been working on (featuring the Shrivetalon from last week's post)

I've got a few more to finish up before I call this done and I'm looking to get another special character to act as my balefire acolyte and for my icon bearer.
