Dear Diary... TMI all the way

I just got offered to start training for a manager position at my second job that I've been at for less than a month. Which I know is a HUGE red flag but I'm way too poor to say no to a pay raise.

I can't even really tell anyone about this in real life aside from people at my second job so ... Go me I guess

I woke up late and still somehow managed to get to work super early??? How???

What do you mean only 3 computers are working in the entire company and mine is one of them and everyone else can go home early 😭

Ever since moving about 7 months ago I haven't made an effort to make a single friend here. And I really hadn't made any connection with anyone that would be more than a casual acquaintance for maybe a year or so before that.

I totally thought that I was fine with it.

Then today I was chatting with one of my newer coworkers who has been in my department for less than a month. And we joked about finishing our work at the same time and that I was just following her and she said

"It's okay you can say we're work besties"

And in that moment I realized I haven't had a friendship, much less a "bestie" in literal years now. I nearly burst into tears just thinking about it. Like I don't feel like a burden telling her a story or that I need to wrap up my train of thought when I take too long. I feel at ease with her.

And while I've truly known her for less than a month, I feel super comfortable.

Anyways this girl made a loner into someone with a friend.

Even if it is just a work bestie

I accidentally became a regular at a fast food place and didn't realize it until the guy at the counter saw me and got my regular order and was shocked when I said got something else.

I'm so sorry I can actually never show my face there again oh my god

Finally got a second job 🎉

Two full time jobs starting Tuesday

Poor people innovation: Didn't have a bottle brush but I forgot about a water bottle and it had some mold in it. Hand also couldn't fit.

So I utilized a big spoon handle, a sock, and a hair tie and cleaned my water bottle lol.

I feel like my future boyfriend/husband will have to settle with me not wearing lingerie to bed. Like my big ole boobies are contained and squished all day long I will not sleep like that. You got an old free gym t shirt and you're going to like it

Interviewer: Hey I would love to hire you, let me talk to the head of the department to get all the paperwork together. I'll call you tomorrow morning once I have everything :D

And then they never called me. :(

Had a spider crawl on me and am now convinced that there's more crawling on me like the ghost brethren

My fridge and cabinets are full and it makes me excited...

I have exhausted the funds to grocery shop for the next three months but I got food again

Fighting with myself because I desperately need a new bed (I've been sleeping on an air mattress for 6 months and it has a tiny hole somewhere that I can't find) but the thought of spending money in this economy with this paycheck, makes me mental

All I wanna do is tell people what my passwords are for my very important job but I legally can't!

They're so funny and I can't tell a soul!

Maybe it's the accent of where I grew up, or the speed of how people said it. But I was uncomfortably old when I realized people were saying "God bless you" after someone sneezed and not "Gah bless you"

As a curly hair girlie, whenever I straighten my hair I give myself a VIOLENT side part and pretend I'm an emo from the early 2000s
