South Korea - The 2nd Day

Soo... On the second day we woke up super early (well, for me) to start the day off. We congregated in the Hotel Lobby and set off to do some touristy things.  The first place we went to was to see 'The 40 Steps'. Now, I can't even remember the history behind them, but they had some sort of importance. 

Afterwards, we all sort of split up and went our on way. A few of us decided to go to a really tall tower so that we could see the city from up high. ;] We walked through a cute garden to get there and at the bottom of the tower there were gates just covered in Love-padlocks. It was really cute!

If I ever go back, I'll put one on myself for definite. <3 We went up the tower and enjoyed the amazing views. It was a lovely day, so it was really clear. Busan is huuuuuge. I love how Asian cities are clumped in tiny spaces between mountain ranges. It makes England seem even more flat, and somewhat ordinary. 

We all sort of met up at the tower again before we went up, but ended up splitting once more afterwards. Me, Terry and Tony went shoppiiiiing around the Markets.  I had really high expectations for Korea in terms of shopping, so it's no doubt I was a little disappointed. It's cheap and the stuff was nice, but nothing really took my fancy. I desperately wanted to grab the numerous oshare(fashionable) Koreans we walked past and ask them where they shop. No doubt the places they do shop would be expensive, though. I sort of realised the nicer looking clothes stores had the higher price tags. The boys bought numerous pairs of shoes while I settled with a faux leather jacket. I had done a fashion shoot the week before and got to wear a real leather jacket, so I really wanted one!  None of us paid the original price for anything, either. The thing about Busan is that it's similar to most European countries when it comes to bargaining. They say an overly high price and you try your best at getting it lower. I pretty much sucked and I think I over paid for my jacket (£40), but the original price was £50, so I did get some money off!  Halfway through the day we sat down and ate some Korean street food. We got this huge fried fish thing, which was awesome, but the bones made it difficult to eat. 

We spent the rest of the day shopping some more and playing Arcade games before going back to the hotel to change.  Then we went for dinnerrr~~~~ We found an empty Korean BBQ restaurant. Again, we couldn't read the menu so we ordered random things. The staff couldn't speak English either, so that made it a little more difficult.  The food we got though was awesome. And the shochu (alcohol) was even better. We sat, fried up some beef and what looked like pigs ass, and got drunk!

Along with the nice food we got, we also got this bowl of what looks like maggots. They were rank!

As we had plans to go out drinking that night, we went to tesco and bought 20 bottles of Shochu for about £15. Damn cheap, I tell you! We were meant to go to an International student party, but most of us got lost in the Taxi on the way there and spent about an hour trying to get in touch with those who made it. A lot gave up and went home, but myself, Terry and Tony stayed out and went exploring.  It took us a while and a lot of blanks from Koreans before we got direction to the bar-area of Busan. We even got refused entry in one place, but we think it might have been a hostess bar. /tehe We ended up at the well known 'Thursdays Party' bar and drank really cheap beer. Then, finally, we found the international party and were reunited with Heather and Kitty. From there we went to a number of other bars and clubs and had a blast. It was a really fun night! We even continued drinking when we got back to the hotel and some girl on girl bath action and nakedness ensued. Let's not say anymore...  P.s. I had a Hookah thing! It was grape flavoured and was awesooooome. 

The last day was basically us waking up hungover and making our way back to Japan. No need to go into detail. I slept most of the way back.  Hope this blog has quenched yo thirsts! Will continue updating from now. THAILAND IN LESS THAN A WEEK!! 雷案~

I'm Back! - South Korea

こんにちは！久しぶりね― Hey! Long time no post. I know, right? I'm just going to get back in to the swing of things. I really can't be bothered with a catch-up. Sorry! ;] The reason I sort of stopped posting was probably because nothing really big happened. I came out of my "Holiday Period" and it was just all about Uni for a while. However, I have a lot of things to post about in the upcoming weeks, so let's get started! I went to South Korea! To be more exact, I went to Busan - the second largest South Korean city. I would prefer Seoul, but this trip was organised by one of my teachers and it was too cheap to turn down. (About £40 for 3 days!).  So the trip began early in the morning with a two hour coach ride to Fukuoka. We got the Uni bus, which I love, because it's just me and the people I know. ^_^

Then we arrived at Fukuoka boat terminal place. Yeh, we got the boat to Busan because it's so close. It was weird getting a boat to another country, actually. It's exactly like getting a plane - security, check in, all the stuff you hate.  The boat ride itself was 3 hours long. It wasn't too bad, but I had a difficult time sleeping and couldn't wait to get off. When we arrived we got the subway to our hotel. I love riding subways in different countries. It is just something I always want to do. Plus, it's hella cheap in Korea to travel around. The first thing I noticed about Busan was how "unclean" it was compared to Japan. I'm saying unclean, because Japan is creepily immaculate when it comes to litter and Busan more represents to streets of England. Even so, it was sort of a shock after living in Japan for 7 months. I had heard Japanese people saying Korea is dirty, but I just thought they were being overly-judgemental. In fact though, it is. And so is England, for that matter~~.  I have also heard that most places in South Korea are just like Japan, though. I guess it's just the larger cities that appear different.  Anywayz~~ Got to the hotel and we were all like "oooooh". I don't know what I expected, but the place was pretty nifty for the price we paid. The girls hotel room even had a separate lounge area, which of course quickly became the designated drinking area.

Our plans for the evening we arrived were minimal, because it was quite late. We went to buy snacks first from a supermarket, and guess what?! It was pretty much the Korean version of Tesco! I had actually read that Tesco the company was pretty successful in South Korea, but I didn't think I'd actually see one of their stores. Obviously they aren't called Tesco in SK, instead being named HomePlus, but you can clearly see from the sign that it's Tesco---

Afterwards we went to a really small fast food place to eat. I couldn't read any of the menu - something I disliked whilst in Korea. I really should learn to read Korean :/. I ended up ordering the same as Bank, because he knows his food. We got something called Toppokki(?). I can't remember what he said it was made from, but it was kind of dough-y. It came in a spicy sauce, which is what I would expect from Korea! ;]

After dinner we got the bus to the largest shopping mall in the world! the bus, though. Oh jesus. Firstly, I want to say that I dislike all methods of payment on Asian buses. In Japan, you pay at the end and the price you pay is shown on a screen. This just makes the whole journey nerve-racking, because I never know if I'm going to have the right change.  In Korea, you pay when you get on, same as back home, but you literally just drop your money in a box and walk on. God forbid if you don't have the right change - or no change at all. Obviously, the 13 of us didn't have change. After the first 5 people asking for change the bus driver got really angry and started shouting at us. He just gestured us all onto the bus (I think me and Miki were the only ones who didn't give him any money at all). He continued shouting in Korean for like another 5 minutes. It was so scary!  It was so ridiculous, too. I'm sorry, but if you're going to have more notes than coins in your currency then at least expect people not to have change. God.  /rantover So we arrive at this huuuge mall, but everywhere is shut because it's late. The reason we went was to go the the SpaLand there. It's like a really big Onsen (see my post about Japanese onsen - it's the same concept). This one was a lot more high class, though. They had this whole chillaxing section where you wore pyjamas. There were about 10 different themed rooms with different temperatures - The Pyramid room being the hottest. I think you're supposed to chill in all these different rooms and sweat as much as you can before you go to the jacuzzi part. I did it the wrong way round, so I ended up going to the Jacuzzi section, the chill section and then back to the jacuzzi section again. Lots of nakedness. awkk. 

It's fair to say, that after all that relaxing we went back to the hotel and slept.  [Next day in the next post, which is probably above this one~].

三週間！ごーめん！

こんにちは！ Wahhhhh, it has been ages since I last blogged! It's going to be so hard recounting what I've done. >< Sorry about the wait, anyway. I never knew how much of a chore a blog was. I generally enjoy writing them though, so I will continue! ^^ So I left off last time after the Suntory Beer trip and the Lights festival...according to my photos the next interesting thing that happened was a Pottery trip!   It was way away into the countryside and it was such a beautiful day. We were on the bus for like an hour and then we had to walk 20 minutes to the actual place. I was hungover as well, so I wasn't exactly "feeling it", but the views and nature was just too good to get me down. The actual pottery place was just literally some dudes house way up in the forest. There was some cute woman as well who made us coffee and sweets <3. Bless. Also, there was a rope swing which I loved, even though it was super low.  The guy gave us a demonstration on how to make a plate and cup etc from clay and he made it was so easy. I was getting a bit frustrated with watching and wanted to try, but I probably should have paid more attention because when it came to actually making something I was like "errr, how the fuck do I do this". It was really hard and my clay kept going all dry and shit. I ended up making a lame pot thing to store my 1 Yen coins in. We have to wait like a month for it to "bake", so I don't even have it yet. Will post pictures when we go to collect them. :]  Oh, remember English Weekend? Well, as a thanks the Japanese took us out for the night and we got cheap Nomitabehoudai, which is All-you-can-eat-and-drink. Arrgh, the food we got was so fucking good. And you get alcohol, too. It's a good combo until you eat too much and begin to feel sick. You have to eat almost everything you order as well, so when we had to leave we started shoving food into pots and stuff so they wouldn't charge us extra for it. :B Probably not a good idea and I doubt we'd be welcome there again, but meh... we were drunk.   Afterwards we went to Karaoke ^^! Sang some tunes, had a dance. It was great fun. And of course, we went out clubbing after. Hmm... what else has happened? Ah, right. We had to go to some disaster centre place to make sure we were all prepared for what could happen whilst we're in Japan. I thought it was going to be boring and lecturey, but it was pretty fun actually. We went through these little scenarios and each one was an example of a disaster. So, the first one was earthquakes and we got up on this machine thing, which had a fake kitchen built on it and the woman slowly put the machine on to certain levels of strength. I think they were the same numbers as the Rictor scale thing and she started on 1. When we got to 5/6 it was shaking like mad and the chairs were rocking and everything. It was proper scary, but I couldn't stop laughing so good luck to me if a real one strikes. :/ Next was the typhoon machine and we basically stood in a tiny room and this huge fan just blasted us with wind. We wanted it to go up to 50mph, but apparently that would have threw us to the ground, so I think it only went up to about 30mph. It was actually really strong. :B Thennn we had to practice evacuated during a fire and we got chucked into this really dark room and had to answer questions whilst smoke was pumping in. After question time we had to run through a small maze to escape. We saved a dummy as well <3, but she died due to inhaling too much smoke. RIP <3.  Before we left some of the boys dressed up in firemens gear. It just reminded me of the SATC episode when Samantha dresses in one and then the firemen all run to get dressed and she has to give the suit back and she's stood there naked. LMAO.    Oh wooooow, we went to this amaziiing firework festival as well! This photo doesn't do it justice at all and I left the photographing to those who had proper cameras. :B It was honestly the best firework show I had ever seen. I think it was a competition as well, because there were loads of different shows so I think people make the fireworks and then come together to compete for the best show. Honestly, some of them were amazing shapes like hearts and cats and bears and stuff and some of them played music as well. It was a great experience. And I lied down and it felt like the stars were blowing up in fantastic colours. Arghhh, can't get over how good it was. I want to go agaiiiin <3.  Gonna skip to Halloween nowww: We had a party on the friday before actual Halloween Day and it was really cool seeing everyone dressed up. ^^ Me, Heather and Kitty went as a three-some of Gods. More specifically, Aphrodite, Dionysus and Apollo.  Kitty basically created my whole outfit and all I did was stand there. :B I appreciate it though, because I got 2nd place in the costume competition and won a Doraemon shampoo bottle. I gave it away to this little girl who was at the party though. :] I think she'd use it a lot more than me.  We went out to town afterwards and omg, the attention we all got from people was unbelievable. We got stopped so many times and stuff. I felt like a minor celebrity. ^_^ Was such a good night, even if I can't remember most of it. Eheh.  Went on a class trip on Wednesday to a Winery and a gorge walk. The winery was basically "LOOK THIS IS THE MACHINE WE USE TO MAKE WINE, NO GO DRINK YOURSELVES SILLY". Honestly, the tour was over within 5 minutes and then we just stood around "sampling" wine. I had at least 3 small cups of each bottle and felt a little tipsy by the time we left. There was some old Japanese man just stood there getting obviously pissed though, he was so funny.  The gorge was so beautiful. I've been on a gorge walk in Greece and granted it was a much bigger gorge, there was no water or anything. This one was like part of a movie or something and there were couples in rowing boats going between mountains and stuff. It looked so romantic. <3 Oh, and we ran into some creepy ass praying mantis'. We saw two, in fact, and I thought it would be a good idea to tap the 2nd one with my shoe. Bad idea. it latched onto my shoe with it's long ass claws and I screamed so loud, PMSL. It wouldn't let go either and I was trying to kick it off for ages. :[   Near the end of the gorge there was a pond with loads of fish in it as well. I thought they were really big fish, but turns out half of them were bottom-feeder sharks! They came up really close to the surface as well and let us stroke them. They were hella slimy, but cute in a fugly way. :B  Sooo, I've been off Uni for half of this week because it's my Uni's festival time or whatever. I went today and it's basically a huge food festival. Some of the stuff is so good though. I had some Korean stuff, meat ball things, pork soup and WHALE! Yayyyyy. I never really thought about whale when I came to Japan, but when I heard about the stall selling it, I just had to try it!  It was deepfried and really dark brown in colour. Also, the stall had whale posters everywhere and I felt a little guilty, but it was tastyyy. I can only compare it to liver, but less liver-taste and the texture is a little different. I'm glad I got to try it though. <3 One more weird food crossed off of my list. :]  

  Well that's it! I tried to make this blog smaller by not writing about all the random things i've been doing, but it isn't like I can remember much anyway. I will definitely  try and update more frequently from now on! 3 Weeks is just way too long. I'll put another update after this with just some random Photos I've taken. :] またね！ 雷案

こんにちは！ Wow! It feels like it has been forever since I last updated. It probably has tbh. I can't even remember what I've done since. Can I just say how happy I am right now? I don't know why, but I think it might be because of the weather here. It's just so sunny and hot everyday, I love it! Obviously winter is going to arrive soon and it'll get a bit colder, but waking up yo blue skies and warm sun makes going to Uni 10000x better than enduring a blizzard like I had to back home! ^_^ I'm just going to have to talk crap in this blog, so if you're lazy then I'll do it for you...TL;DR. Oh, and the photos are just random ones I've picked out. I haven't been taking many photos, so I don't have enough for any particular event. I think I can start with English Weekend... Basically, my Uni here in Japan has an English Weekend twice a year. They have a group of Japanese Students who run it, but I'm guessing it's usual for the exchange students to be made staff in the year they're here for. So I got made staff! :D We went away to some building the Uni owns. I think it's a sort of sports centre, I'm not sure. Anyway, the weekend it full of activities and stuff and it's there so that Japanese students can come and improve their speaking/listening skills in English. That's why us native speakers (and the awesome ones who speak English as a second language) get made staff. Tbh, us foreigners weren't the best of staff, but I think the fact we were there made the weekend a little more appealing to other students (they have to pay to come, you see). We left on the Friday, but for this night only it was just the staff who stayed at the sports centre. Everyone else arrived on the Saturday. When we arrived though it was all strange and exciting and then we got to the kitchen and they had ordered everyone Hotto Motto! It's like a Japanese...erm, I was going to say McDonalds, but they have McDonalds here, so it wouldn't sound right. I don't think there's a similar place in England... maybe a Chippy? Yes! It's like a chippy, as it sells loads of small Japanese meals. It's really good! ^^ Obviously after eating everyone was up for drinking! Before that though we all showered and it was sort of like a mini onsen (will talk about that in a minute). Had to wake up earlyyyy and we were hungoverrr and it was harrrd. Pulled myself together eventually, after breakfast and things. That Saturday when everyone had arrived we done a lot of activities in groups like games and the sort. I'm not sure who won overall, but I'm inclined to say TEAM A, YEHHHH! That night most of us went onsen. Now, if you don't know what onsen is then let me explain. It's a "public bath house", where a lot of Japanese people go to get washed and relax. It's reasonably cheap to get in (about £3.40), so it's very popular here in Japan. Inside there's a changing room, where you undress and put everything in a locker. And when I say everything, I mean everything. You have to be naked in these things. Don't ask why, something to do with spirituality and stuff. Anyway... some people have these mini flannels which they carry round.. they offer some sort of modesty. Obviously I didn't know, so I was just full on buck naked. It was okay though, I got over the whole shy/size thing ages ago and I was in Japan, so no biggie (excuse the pun). It was a little odd sitting around talking to people you sort of know...naked. I don't understand why they can't just wear shorts, but I suppose once you're in the water it's nice and you feel sort of "free". There were a lot of different pools inside. The first really big one had like two different jacuzzi sections and a "pulse" pool. I was too scared to try the pulse pool, because apparently it sends electric currents through your body and your muscles all tense at the same time. Some of the guys didn't even get a leg in before running away, so I definitely would've have survived.  The pools are really warm though, like.. 40 degrees I think. I could only last about 5-8 minutes in before I had to sit on the side and cool off. There was a really cold pool outside, though. It was nice after sitting in a hot bath for ages, but your body goes numb after like 2 minutes. Then you're really cold, so you jump into the hot bath and it feel like you're being stabbed by a thousand pins. Ouchhh.  Overall though, it was really relaxing and enjoyable. I want to go to some other Onsens and see what pools and stuff they have. I've bought a flannel now, so I wont feel as stupid next time! :B Again, we drank that night. Stupid idea. We never learn. Sunday we were up early. Played some more games and then went fruit pickiiiiing. It was so hottt and I was hungover, so I wasn't LOVING it, but I'm glad I got to do it. And fruit is damn expensive here, so picking and eating my own pears/oranges for free felt so good! Mmmm, vitamins <3. I don't do much throughout the week, because I have classes everyday. I feel like I'm learning a lot more here than I did back home. It's probably my fault I don't know that much Japanese, but just being here helps a lot and the teachers teach better.. they seem more passionate, maybe...whereas back home they don't even have a secure job, so not as much.  I'm really determined to do good with Kanji whilst I'm here. I've just been taught about radicals, so I'm hoping they'll make it easier to learn. I'm going to start of a bit slow and ease my way in... I think I've found a perfect revision technique, which has been working, so fingers crossed! Then closer to Christmas/New Year I'm going to try and get onto the higher chapters. It's going to take so much time! Not only do I have to learn how to recognise and write the kanji, I then have to learn the 1, 2 or 5 readings it had and THENNN I have to learn when to use each reading and maybe some vocab with that Kanji if there isn't a specific usage of a reading. It's going to be hard. But I have to finish about 60 Chapters this year! ><  YAAAAAAAAAAAY, it's FRIDAYYYY! Not sure what I'm doing tonight, but tomorrow we're going to a Japanese Izakaya (pub) for some grub and drinks, then maybe onto karaoke and then clubbing! I am exciiited :]! Ahhhh, we also have a class trip tomorrow (no idea why they're stealing my saturday away from me, but meh). We're going to be making pottery. Defo gonna do a bitta Ghost ;]! じゃね！

こんばんは！ Omg I haven't updated in what feels like ages! I can't even remember what I've been doing. Homework, mostly.. I get quite a bit. That + Classes + my Jobs = busy schedule. I only really have the Weekend to relax and it goes by so fast. I can never spare a day for a "hangover day" either. :( I got a Japanese mobile. Yaaay <3. I got it for free off of my friend, Yuki. Really happy, because it's saved me like 5~6 thousand yen. ^_^ It's pink as well and has a mirror. I think it was destined to end up with me tbh. Uhm, it was Adam's birthday over the weekend. We were up late on the Friday I think and he didn't say anything even though his birthday was on the Saturday (we literally could've sang Happy Birthday at midnight). We only found out when we all went to bed and saw on Facebook. Didn't stop up from running out the next day to buy some cake thingssss. ^^. Our options were veryyy limited, so we settled on a couple normal sponge cakes and bought some Chocolate and Peanut spreads. Whip cream was made and we decorated them. They actually looked really good and tasted good, too!  We had planned to go out on the Saturday night, but now it was Adam's birthday so it made so much more sense! Went for food and got some fit Kara Age (Fried chicken). Afterwards we went to buy booze from the cheap store and then headed towards Karaokeeeee! It was really easy to sneak the drink in and we got unlimited soft drinks included in the price, so that was our mixer sorted.  I thought it would have been really awkward at the start, but we had some amazing singers with us, so it was like WTF WHY THEY SO GOOD. Then we all got drunk and started the duets etc. LMFAO and Whitney Houston were the bed imo. Afterr Karaoke we went to a club and it was so good! We met other gaijin (foreigners). We danced until about 5am - that's when the lights came on to get everybody out. Felt just like home <3. Went McDonald's afterwards as well. Definitely home. Oh, and I rode my bike back without crashing. Yay. Next day me, Heather, Bank and some of the Japanese girls went to this place called Round 1. It literally had every sport/activity ever. Rollerblading, motorbiking, pool, tennis, badminton, volley ball, squash, shooting and like a million game machines. It was really fun despite my hangover! They had massage chairs as well, but me and Heather weren't loving it much. It proper hurt and felt like someone was abusing you :B. Just been in Uni and work since then, so not much has happened. I'm tired like ALL THE TIME. Mehhhh. We have a Welcome Party (we all arrived like 3 weeks ago?) tomorrow nigghtt! I am going to die in Uni on Thursday. We all get given money to buy ingredients so we can cook something as well. It's going to be a proper mix of cultural food. Me and Mia are going to attempt making Fish and Chips. It sounds lame, but we couldn't think of any other "british" food! I hope it's good though <3. This weekend is English Weekend as well! We're going away to some little cabin for the weekend with about 50 Japanese students. It's going to be sooo much fun! Will update next week and tell you all how it went! またね！

こんにちは！ Well, I started my classes on Thursday. They're pretty easy. I'm so glad I got into the Lower-Intermediate and now the Advanced classes, cos they have sooo much homework to do. I should probably be a good student and do some extra studying to make up for not having much to do. Maybe. Anyway, I've just had the weekend. Took advantage of it I think, because I don't have any days off :(. Finished on the Friday and waited for my friend Yuki to finish work and pick me up. We went to the Cinema to watch the new Resident Evil movie. Had some food, met up with Mika and went to watch the movie. It was quite good. I couldn't help but notice the dialogue being incredibly simple. Maybe the films are a lot bigger in the East than they once were in the west, and the English is dumbed down a bit? I dunno. Plus, the monsters are just getting creepy as fuck.  Came home, heard a party in the flat across from me and was like "HEY, I'M GONNA JOIN IN". Got really drunk really fast, slapped a few people, bought more alcohol from the shop etc etc. No one of my most glorious of nights. Next day me and Heather were up and rearing to go...to McDonald's. Such good hangover food <3. Bought some more face masks whilst we were in town as well. I'm a lot more active when hungover here than I am back home. Weird. We all went for Ramen at dinner time. The place is only about 2 minutes away from where we live. The whole set cost 650Yen, which is about £5. I'd say that's really cheap for the amount of food you get. I couldn't even finish it all. :( Had drinks again that night (told you I took advantage of the weekend). It was really fun, all cosy in Kitty's room talking and listening to music. I didn't even have a hangover when I woke up this morning! SCORE. Me and Heather went for hangover food again, but this time we went to Hotto Motto. It's so good and cheap. And the weather today was glorious, so I'm glad I got outside and explored a bit. Met a mangy cat that tried to eat our food. We named him Taka LOL. We went to the market, which was closed due to it being a Sunday. Mehhh. There was a cute little antiques shop though. Went in and the old man who owned it ran into the back and came out with ice tea and crackers. It was adorable. His wife was there, too. She had been to the UK before and she brought out her pictures from her visit. The Japanese seem to adore English countryside and stuff. She went to Chester as well and to Shakespeare's house.  Now I'm home and I'm tired, but I should really do some homework. This blog post was actually meant to be quite short, but it's turned out to be another essay. こんにちは！ Not been doing much lately. Just chilling, having fun in the dorms, eating. Yea..eating...I eat so much here. I think it's because we have a giant communal kitchen and everyone just hangs out there and eats. Even if it's only been about an hour or 2 since I ate, if I see someone cooking I WILL get hungry again. I've been trying not to eat out as much, because it can be expensive if you do it all the time. I'm still spending loads of money though :(. Apparently there's this really cheap food market nearby, so I need to go there at some point. I've been going to the supermarket and it's cheap, but they have ready made buffet food and it's just so easy..and pricey. Mehhh. Despite spending loads on food, I have improved my cooking skills. As you can see by the photos I have become quite the chef ^^. It's weird here...I'm not as fussy as I would be back home and I tend to just throw a load of stuff in a bowl and call it "Japanese". It's all been really fit though, especially Oyakodon <333 mm. Unfortunately, I didn't make the burger. That's from a Japanese burger joint called Mos Burger. It's quite expensive, but we were hungover. (H). I got their original burger.. it has some sort of ravioli-tasting sauce with onions on it and a huge slice of tomato. It's nice, but I probably would've preferred McDonald's ;]. Oh, and my timetable is there if anyone is interested. I don't have any days off, but most of them it's just 1 or 2 lessons. I've also applied for 2 jobs which take place during some of the lessons, so I will be doing them instead. Talking about jobs... like I said, I've applied for 2. One is an English Teaching Assistant in a class.. I've applied last minute, but I sooo hope I get it. They're looking for one more person and hardly anyone has applied so fingers crossed! The second is like an examiner sort of. Basically, I'm given some papers written in English by the Japanese students and I have to point out spelling mistakes and bad grammar etc. I'm not gonna be a pro at it, but hopefully I'll be of some help.  ALSOOO. We have an English Lounge in Uni and we get paid 500Yen in Conbini (convenience store) credit just to sit in it and talk to the Japanese students. AAAND, we have an English Weekend coming up and we get paid like 2000Yen per day to eat food and get drunk! Yayyyy! 2000Yen is about £16 ^_^. & one last thing. I actually HAVE a job. A Japanese girl looking for a British-English person to teach her asked me to sit with her for an hour (probably once a week) and talk. Sooo many jobs. They're all like an hour a week though, lolll. じゃ、またね！ 雷案

I almost forgot: the presents I got. Loads of Kumamon stuff. He's the mascot of Kumamoto :] Cuuuute.
