@wobbuffetismyspiritpokemon im sorry
marleybonians are going to colonize the entire spiral with their thoughtless and obsessive nature of conquering worlds, leading to the cultural domination of a dog-favoring world while other cultures rot in hell.
i wish someone loved me the same way @completelyinfallible loves hawkules titties
What to do and how you know when the schools are angry:
Storm: Their glare sends sparks of electricity into the air, crackling around them with pure energy. In the distance, you can very easily hear the distant roll of thunder approaching as you watch them visibly shake with all of that pent up energy. Recommended actions: help them calm down by pulling up a 10 hour YouTube video of rain sounds or ocean waves. You know it works when the thunder starts receding. Speaking in soft tones forces them to listen closely to what you’re saying. After all, they can’t hear with all that thunder in the background.
Ice: Their whole body is tense; frozen stiff. You notice your breath is visible despite it being the beginning of July. Out of the corner of your eye, you see icicles; sharp and menacing that are descending from the ceiling and look dangerously close to snapping off and impaling the poor unfortunate souls beneath them. Recommended actions: play a winter themed song. ‘Let it Snow’ is always a good choice but if that fails, try 'Winter Wonderland’. They’ll abashedly thank you later for it.
Fire: The floor beneath them seems to have scortch marks as they pace back and forth. You’re starting to sweat uncomfortably but you don’t want to say anything in case it might set them off. They mutter to themselves as objects around them start to melt and/or cave in on themselves. Smoke rises from their body as their pacing becomes a bit more erratic. You idle try to recall where the nearest exit is. Recommended actions: humor defuses the situation; always keep an emergency bag of marshmallows on your person and jokingly ask if they would like you to find you both a couple of sticks. They may snap harshly at you, don’t be alarmed. Simply explain to them you thought a mini campfire would be a good way for you both to sit and talk. They’ll huff and puff but will eventually agree and simmer down.
Myth: Try really hard not to get angry with them despite how they are treating you. Those harsh words they are throwing in your direction are their ways of distracting themselves so the shaking of the ground doesn’t worsen. You glance out the window as you bite your tongue and notice the sky is a gross burnt yellow color, swirling counterclockwise in an angry imitation of what could possibly be a tornado. This coupled with the rapidly spreading cracks in the ground make for a dangerous combo. Recommended actions: swallow your pride and try to boost their ego. “You’re right” seems to be their favorite phrase to be uttered to them and allows them to calm themselves. They’ll get a little tsundere on you but will be glad you helped calm them down.
Life: You can’t tell they’re angry at first as they seem to give the silent treatment but as their movements get snappier with their nose turned up, you quickly take notice of the veggitation that surrounds you both. These plants look almost…hostile. All razor sharp thorns and sickly sweet fumes surround you. This could possibly be poison but don’t worry! They wouldn’t kill another student, that’s just wrong. They vines are getting a little too grabby for comfort, however. Recommended actions: as calm as you can, ask if they would teach you how to garden. Even if you know how to already, the fact that you want to know more on how to care for the earth quickly brings a smile to their face. The evil weeds recede and you both go on your merry way.
Death: You’re terrfied. Understandably so, what with all those disembodied whispers circling the area. Their movements are jerky…almost as if their bones have forgotten how to work. You feel chills running down your spine, disgustingly reminiscent of a Rotting Fodder’s fingers. And they just won’t stop staring at you. The whispers are starting to grow in volume and urgency. If this keeps up, the whispers could potentially start screaming. Recommended actions: tell them you’re scared. They hate to admit it, but nothing hurts more than pushing their loved ones away. A few tears of frustration will fall; don’t point them out. They don’t often cry. Once you’ve both settled into an awkward silence, tell them about how you saw some Darkmoor books in the baazar and thought they might like them. They’ll hesitantly grin and suggest going together to check them out.
Balance: Nothing feels right. Everything feels…off. Like up is now down and vice versa. They’re usually pretty chill so it’s shocking to see them snap at the littlest things. You didn’t think they’d yell at a piggle, honestly. But they did. The wind tears your hair away from your face, blowing particles of dust and sand into your eyes. If that wasn’t worse, you could almost swear the other students around you were talking backwards. Everything just seems…out of balance. Recommended actions: sit them down for tea and ask them deep questions about the spiral. 'What ifs’ that really make one think. They’ll become distracted with trying to come up for an answer that they’ll forget their anger. For the moment…
Remember to take care of your wizard friends. They’ll appreciate and return the gesture, I assure you.
What if...
Whenever your wizard wants to talk to their friend in another world, they have like some sort of communication device corresponding to their school (i.e. death school has just this skull that talks when their friend speaks like a cellphone…but a skull. Ice just has this really pretty crystal snowflake, myth has a floating gorgan eye that hums and you hear your friend through that, etc).
