New Theory:

Since we now know that Nanami didn’t die along with the Student Council, my new theory is that she dies during The Parade.

Imagine. She still thinks Hinata’s studying in the reserve course. She sees what’s happening, runs out, tries to find him, but the pull of the crowd is too strong, and she ends up moving along, being pushed along by the wave of people, all the way through the parade…. And off the roof.
