She couldn’t say where her head was at that day but it felt like her shift was never going to end. She was already five hours in and it felt like time was moving by slower and slower with each passing minute. She had a fairly large table waiting in the back so she rubbed her eyes with a quiet yawn before grabbing the tray and weaving through the table of people. She wasn’t sure if she tripped over some invisible object on the floor or just her own feet but before she knew it she was tumbling. “ Scheiße ! ” She said immediately switching back to her first language watching as the plates come crashing to the ground. Water and food flying everywhere splashing on not only her but the nearby customers. “ Es tut mir Leid - sorry, sorry. I um - I well I don’t have a um an excuse for this. I guess I just wasn’t paying attention. ”
