New Men Diamler recording featured on "From Here - English Folk Field Recordings", available for pre-order.

My dear friends Stick In The Wheel are releasing a compilation of field recordings recorded by themselves around England.  I’m very pleased to feature, alongside some pretty illustrious names in English folk, with a new recording of my very own “1848 (Sunset Beauregard).  I’m also pretty stoked to announce you’ll be able to pick this up on both vinyl and CD from your favorite music emporium on the 17th March, or pre-order it from a number of outlets detailed at the link.  If you wish to support a real bricks and mortar record store, i’d heartily recommend pre-ordering it from Badlands Records in Cheltenham, a shop very close to my heart!

October 21st / 22nd Brunel Museum, LONDON - THE CROOKED CABINET OF CURIOSITIES Men Diamler absolutely thrilled to be performing a few songs at this theatre/music event in the gorgeous hole that is the Brunel entrance tunnel.  The event will also feature two plays, music performances from THE REBEL (of Country Teasers fame), DAVID CRONENBOURGS WIFE, THE RATTLIN' CASKETS, and more besides.  Tickets are a sweet TENNER.  The event is organised by the wonderful Crooked Tree Theatre company - and you can find more information here

There’s a new Men Diamler album amidst the Pigeons.  “Black Shuck Rings Mordor” was concieved and recorded on dictaphone at various houses where I’ve been staying in London.  It’s available to stream / download at mendiamler.bandcamp.com or here precisely.

New Men Diamler EP - Free Download From Bandcamp.

Here’s a NEW Men Diamler release of sorts; available as a free download from mendiamler.bandcamp.com . “No City In The Naked Pity” It consists of a series of very old recordings that made up part of the first Men DIamler album, “The Heathen Sounds Of” that saw a very limited release a heck of a long time ago.  In contrast to the recordings that came after, these are almost all instrumental and are stylistically very different.  There are six tracks weaved together into a single 19 minute track - which works really well together outside the uneven context of the original album.  If only it hadn’t taken 10 years to figure that out.  It’s arguably the most unified and satisfying Men Diamler piece released to date in terms of sound and conciseness.  Download lossless and listen loud!
