Julieta Madrigal

ISFJ

Dominant Si (Introverted Sensing) / Inferior Ne (Extroverted Intuition)

Though Julieta does take time to defend her daughter against her mother, she is just as ingrained in traditions and how things work as everyone else. She doesn’t want Mirabel to suffer the same fate as Bruno, so she can be overprotective of her, and she is also very cognizant of the world around her. She understands that Antonio’s gift ceremony is hard for her, given everything she’s gone through.

Auxiliary Fe (Extroverted Feeling) / Tertiary Ti (Introverted Thinking)

Even when Julieta doesn’t believe Mirabel about the cracks, she still makes time to validate what Mirabel is going through. She is kind, caring and is constantly exuding her own labor to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. She is also one of the few characters that defends Mirabel several times throughout the movie.

Monkey D. Luffy (Live Action One Piece)

ESFP

Sorry, I’m doing the live action for right now. The animated show is way too intimidating, especially considering I have like, fifty shows on my to be watched list.

Dominant Se (Extroverted Sensing) / Inferior Ni (Extroverted Intuition)

One of Luffy’s most notable traits is his ability to rely solely on his physical instincts, able to jump into fights, not knowing what to expect. He can tell when they are nearing food just by smelling, and he reacts in the moment of any fight with little to no preparation. His Ni is shown in his desire to find the One Piece and become the pirate king, but is hardly ever shown in any other situation.

Auxiliary Fi (Introverted Feeling) / Tertiary Te (Extroverted Thinking)

One thing that does tend to set Luffy apart from other pirates is his moral code. He won’t steal a boat in the beginning of the show and is set on retrieving one in the “right way.” He is also very protective of his friends and those he cares about, often to the point of putting himself in danger.

Aaron Burr (Hamilton)

INFJ

Before I start the typing, I want to make it clear that I am typing Aaron Burr as he is portrayed in the musical Hamilton. I am not typing Aaron Burr the historical figure, in fact the only reason I am even typing him is because the events of Hamilton are dramatized enough to where I do feel like I am essentially typing a fictional character,

Dominant Ni (Introverted Intuition) / Inferior Se (Extrovert Sensing)

Burr is very idealistic and tends to set his sights on individual goals, like getting elected, or graduating law school. Burr becomes so obsessed with his ideas, that he is often hesitant to get directly involved in a lot of the events that happen in the show. His Se exists purely to support his Ni in many ways, often fixating on smaller details and overthinking, such as making assumptions about why Hamilton showed up to their duel wearing glasses. His lack of Se is shown at several points in the show and when he is rather hesitant to jump into situations.

Auxiliary Fe (Extroverted Feeling) : Tertiary Ti (Introverted Thinking)

Burr runs the majority of his campaign on his likability, appealing to their emotions rather than sharing his beliefs. Throughout the show, Burr gives the advice “talk less, smile more”, indicating his desire to passively please people rather than share any sort of competent belief. This becomes a major conflict between Hamilton and Burr, Hamilton’s inability to understand when to hold back his pride versus Burr’s inability to do anything with pride, instead falling in line with everyone else.

Nick Wilde

ENTP

Dominant Ne (Extroverted Intuition) / Inferior Si (Introverted Sensing)

Nick is a fox, making him sly and quick thinking, always exploring opportunities outside of the box. His strong intuition allows him to be able to make correct assumptions about people, often getting by in life through this. While he is not as optimistic about change as Judy is, he still doesn’t dwell to much on things he cannot control, pushing his Si to the back of his mind most of the time. Still, he often uses this to justify his instincts and become very defensive over himself and others.

Auxiliary Ti (Introverted Thinking) / Tertiary Fe (Extroverted Feeling)

Nick lives by his own rules, preferring to scam and trick others rather than follow the law. He is argumentative about Judy’s prejudice viewpoints, and does, to an extent, care about others’ opinions on him. Still, he copes by pretending he doesn’t really care or that things don’t really bother him as much as they do.

Lexi Howard

INFJ

Dominant Ni (Introverted Intuition) / Inferior Se (Extroverted Sensing)

Lexi is often one of the more idealistic ones in the cast, often trying to find creative ways to reach her goals, such as writing a play to reunite her friend group. Lexi can be very observant, but her lack Se can prevent her from truly seeing the bigger picture in the moment, sometimes causing her to unintentionally hurt other people. She has a unique perspective, and uses this unique perspective when it comes to helping her friends.

Auxiliary Fe (Extroverted Feeling) / Tertiary Ti (Introverted Thinking)

Lexi believes deeply in social harmony, and is able to empathize with most perspectives, however, her desire for social harmony can sometimes be misguided or unrealistic. She is one of the few people Rue trusts, as she is genuinely warm and understanding, but she can often be seen to choose sides in situations. She wrote the play with the intention of reuniting a group of friends together, but hurt her sister in the process.

Gregory Eddie

ISTJ

Dominant Si (Introverted Sensing) / Inferior Ne (Extroverted Intuition)

Gregory likes to live a very structured life and lives based off his experiences and knowledge. He does not often partake in things he knows he won’t enjoy, like certain foods and activities. He loves gardening and is very knowledgeable about it, but often has a hard time getting in touch with his Ne, partially due to childhood trauma. He enjoyed filling in for Ava as principal, as it gave him a chance to use his organizational and leadership skills in the field.

Auxiliary Te (Extroverted Sensing) / Tertiary Fi (Introverted Feeling)

Gregory had a pretty well balanced Te/Fi combo, able to connect with his emotions more easily than most (although still struggling at times), but is really good when working by the book. More often than not, Gregory acts as the voice of reason within the group, using outer logic to get through to others. He uses his Fi to build connections with his students, and other teachers at Abbott.

Athena Grant

ESTJ

Dominant Te (Extroverted Thinking) / Inferior Fi (Introverted Feeling)

Athena is very logical and works based on existing rules within the department. She can often be good at finding loopholes, especially when the situation calls for it, but even then it is following the logic of the rules given to her. She can be a very caring woman, especially towards her children, but with this comes a level of toughness. She loves her children by being firm with them, and often chooses the logical way before she chooses the emotional way. When May states she wants to move out, she doesn’t necessarily respond to her emotions, but with checklists and apartment lists she is comfortable with.

Auxiliary Si (Introverted Sensing) / Tertiary Ne (Extroverted Intuition)

Athena is very aware of protocol, and though she is able to break it when needed, she is also very adamant about following through on it. She takes in the world around her before she fully makes choices, and often uses Ne to figure out loophole’s within existing systems and logic.

Hannah Montana / Miley Stewart

ESFP

In honor of Hannah Montana being 20 years old (because where the heck did time go?)

Dominant Se (Extroverted Sensing) / Inferior Ni (Introverted Intuition)

Miley is a stylish girl, who enjoys performing, horseback riding and shopping. Her Se allows her to constantly think on her feet, while oftentimes making some rather impulsive decisions that she doesn’t think through, like using her secret identity to get her driver’s license or leaving to go to Florida by herself. Still, her inferior Ni can be seen in other ways, such as her ability to plan ahead and create mental checklists of what is needed before each show.

Auxiliary Fi (Introverted Feeling) / Tertiary Te (Extroverted Thinking)

Miley can often be a very compassionate girl, but her identity as a pop star often causes her to become rather self centered and often places her own emotions above those of others. She doesn’t seem to understand how her pop star identity is affecting Jackson, until she realizes her grandmother is giving him more attention than her because of it. Also, due to her identity, she sometimes struggles to separate her alter ego from her day to day life, as seen in the movie, when her father sends her to Tennessee to remind her of where she came from. She does care about her friends and family, highly valuing their opinions and feeling guilty whenever she does realize she has acted selfishly.

Eddie Diaz

ISTJ

Dominant Si (Introverted Sensing) / Inferior Ne (Extroverted Intuition)

Eddie is very knowledgeable about how things work because of past experiences and observations. He is often grounded in reality, skeptical of the unknown, always managing to find reasonable explanations when the rest of the 118’s superstitions get the better of them. He is extremely dutiful, playing his role in the 118 perfectly, rarely challenging the standards already put in place, and can often become critical of those who do.

Auxiliary Te (Extroverted Sensing) / Tertiary Fi (Introverted Feeling)

Eddie is very logical, and relies on standards and rules provided to him to go about his job and life. This has at times caused him and Buck, who has auxiliary Fi to butt heads, especially his rigid focus on rules and the chain of command. Still, his Fi contributes a lot to his decision making process as well. He cares a lot about his son, the 118 and especially Buck, and he often makes decisions for their protection.

Barbara Howard

ESTJ

I’m rewatching Abbott Elementary and realized I haven’t typed most of the characters!

Dominant Te (Extroverted Thinking) / Inferior Fi (Introverted Feeling)

Barbara loves her job and cares deeply for the kids she teaches, but she feels like the best way to give them what they need is doing what she can within existing systems. She is often critical of Janine’s rather unconventional approach to teaching, and takes a more logistic approach to getting things done, by the book. She doesn’t even necessarily agree with the system she is working under most of the time, but she doesn’t think challenging it is the best way to fix her problems. Because of this, a lot of the younger teachers look to her for advice and wisdom on how to work under the system.

Auxiliary Si (Introverted Sensing) / Tertiary Ne (Extroverted Intuition)

Barbara is very routine-oriented and tends to be uncomfortable with change. She gets annoyed when the library system is put into place, because it forces her to change how she approaches library visits. For all of Barbara’s strengths, she can, at times, be closed off to new ideas and fully believes there is no use in changing routines that work. However, her Ne does allow her to get creative when the system doesn’t work in her favor.

Dominant Ne (Extroverted Intuition) / Inferior Si (Introverted Sensing)

Eloise has many ideas and thoughts that she loves to share with the world, and a lot of these ideas seem unrealistic or impractical to those in the ton. She spends a lot of her time reading, telling Penelope her ideas, but because she takes a more idealistic approach to things, she can often become ignorant of the realities of the world around her. She doesn’t pick up on small details easily, like Penelope’s interest in Colin or the fact that a maid couldn’t possibly be Lady Whistledown. Her low Si allows her to be somewhat aware of traditional values, so she can reject them.

Auxiliary Ti (Introverted Thinking) / Tertiary Fe (Extroverted Feeling)

Eloise rejects every single rule that is placed upon the members of the ton, often using her own logic to march to the beat of her own drum. She is often seen as argumentative and rebellious because of her refusal to comply to the standards that are placed upon her. She can be rather empathetic, thanks to her Fe, sympathizing with Cressida’s situation, or helping Penelope with hers.

Sophie Baek

This should go without saying that this is based solely on the show not the book (especially considering Sophie Baek was Sophie Beckett in the book).

Dominant Fi (Introverted Feeling) / Inferior Te (Extroverted Thinking)

Despite everything that has happened to her, Sophie remains kind to others, and carries an emotional vulnerability that allows others around her to feel protective. She revels in her emotions often, especially to those she trusts, mainly the other servants in the household. However, her Te being so low may cause her to struggle to argue when she is upset, or construct an argument, instead reacting upon her emotions.

Sophie wants to experience a ball, and when she gets there, becomes immediately enamored by the physical environment. Benedict first sees her admiring a chandelier, and quickly becomes infatuated with her. Not to mention, Sophie is very quick on her feet when she has to be, throwing water on the men attempting to assault another maid, and being able to escape and undress in enough time

Emily (Hazbin Hotel)

ESFP

Dominant Se (Extroverted Intuition) / Inferior Ni (Introverted Sensing)

Where Charlie is optimistic in an idealistic sense, Emily is optimistic because she is actively seeing ways in which the world could be better. Her perspective often shifts the second she sees proof of something, when Adam gives them a list of how to get into Heaven, and Angel Dust meets all the criteria, she begins to question the black and white nature. When Sir Pentious is redeemed, she realizes redemption is possible. She also gets people excited about being in Heaven by showing them physical attributes to the environment in Heaven.

Auxiliary Fi (Introverted Feeling) / Tertiary Te (Extroverted Thinking)

Emily has very strong morals, and tends to call people out when they don’t abide by theirs. She tends to call out injustice, regardless of the way she is perceived, and is constantly trying to make choices based on her emotions. She is welcoming to Charlie, despite knowing she is the princess of Hell.

Spoilers for Hazbin Hotel season 2, under the cut.

Dominant Te (Extroverted Thinking) / Inferior Fi (Introverted Feeling)

Lute focuses on external logic, rather than creating her own set of logic, and this is what guides her through the majority of her arc. She often pushes her emotions aside for the sake of order and doing what must be done, but her inferior Fi is shown through “Gravity.” She is heartbroken over Adam’s death, but uses her Te to push through and do what is most logical, or what she thinks is most logical- killing Vaggie. She uses the logic, “an eye for an eye” to go after Charlie’s girlfriend, and even in season 1 looks down on emotional people. She adheres to the rules set by Adam, the rules she has adhered to her entire life.

Auxiliary Si (Introverted Sensing) / Tertiary Ne (Extroverted Intuition)

Her Si makes her very focused on routine and tradition, closing her off to new ideas, and assuming the worst whenever everything she knows has been questioned. When Sir Pentious is redeemed, she assumes she forced his way in, because she has always been told that sinners are irredeemable. Her tertiary Ne allows her to think through plans, and allows her to come to these conclusions very quickly. She wants to kill Vaggie, but has no action plan on how to do this.
