Made myself sad by thinking of a world where Shane dies before he's come out to his parents and they discover he had someone in his life (Ilya obvs but maybe it's not clear right away it's him and they have to investigate to find out who it is) when going through his things.

Maybe make it less sad by putting him in a coma instead. He can wake up and be magically, medically inaccurately fine.

I wish I could see sfth without an audience or with a muted audience the heckling has gotten so loud lately I can't hear the guys, it makes shows both on YouTube and in person unenjoyable. I'm hard of hearing and it feels like every video the guys get quieter even though they aren't the audience is just getting louder, the subtitles are great but it's not the same as hearing voices since it makes it harder to tell characters apart as the accents they use are part of that characterization

my late-night heated rivalry hot take is that I don’t think anyone in ilya’s life has ever suspected him of being queer. I think the only people who actually know ilya sleeps with men—alexei and svetlana—found out by accident, probably around the same time (the sasha era…). I just do not think this guy is getting clocked as flamboyant like I think if you’re a hot young superstar jock who’s very publicly making out with hot models in the club everyone is going to look at you and see what they want and expect to see, ie an aggressively heterosexual man
