Friday Reminder That You Are Important
And that being healthy doesn’t always mean loading up the veggies, it means taking a hot shower and singing your favorite song on repeat and putting on your fuzziest pj’s because you know you deserve the best
Don't apologise for your self-confidence. Don't let people take that away from you. Even if it's just a little bit, a quiet amount of self-love you can cup in your hands, don't let people invalidate that. You matter, and you're allowed to be proud about that fact.
You don't need to look like a face on a cover of a glossy magazine to have a healthy romantic relationship. You don't need to have perfect hair, a perfect body, or perfect eyes to be loved.
And now a message to our boys: You matter. Just because you’re not a bulging beefcake doesn’t mean girls aren’t going to like you, Just because you’re not a thin as a rod doesn’t mean you’re unattractive. Just because your looks doesn’t meet someone’s preference doesn’t mean you’re undateable. If you want to change your appearance you have to accept it first. You’re not weak, you’re not disposable, and you do not deserve to die.

Guys, please take care of yourselves. Eat if you haven’t eaten. Sleep if you need to. Take a mental health day. Do what you need to do. But put yourself first when necessary.
1.) Not acting on eating disorder thoughts.
2.) Massively reduced day to day eating disorder thoughts.
3.) Body acceptance/neutrality. A refusal to actively change how my body looks. A refusal to bow to social and cultural pressure to idolise ‘slim, fit and toned’.
4.) No food...
Keeping this as a reference for every time I want to use behaviors:
I will get nothing positive out of restricting, binging, or purging.
None of my problems will be solved, in fact they will likely be magnified because of the self-hate that I feel from falling into the same old trap.
No matter how many times I say “it will be different this time”, it will NOT be, if I continue to go back to the same things that I KNOW don’t work.
Using the same behavior today that I used the previous day will result in the same outcome and I have to believe that and not let myself be convinced otherwise.
Same behavior = Same results— That is a fact.
I refuse to let myself use the excuse of “I will start tomorrow”, because that will get pushed to the next day, and the next and pretty soon I will have wasted an entire year.
And the concept of wasting my life to this is much scarier than dealing with any problem I face in my life currently.
I can, and will break the vicious cycle by dealing with the issues in my life as they arise rather than avoiding them and allowing more to resurface.
I am healing, I am learning, and I am growing and I deserve to to let myself solve my problems in a healthy way.
I will become the person I want to be because I am stronger than I believe and I will prove that to myself.
And I will remember that- "I am learning every day to allow the space between where I am and where I want to be to inspire me and not terrify me."
Body positivity is :
making everybody feel good about their bodies
giving everybody the confidence they need to look whatever way they want
helping everyone overcome the adversities they face for not looking a certain way.
Body positivity is NOT :
insulting skinny people
something only girls need
something only plus sized people need
ignoring a person’s insecurity issues because they’re skinny or male.
assuming a person has an easy life because they’re skinny or male.
Body positivity is supposed to be for everyone, period. If you’re idea of body positivity is building up one group of people by tearing down others, you’re not making any real change in society.

IF I WANT TO EAT ICE CREAM, I’M GOING TO EAT ICE CREAM.
EATING THESE THINGS WON’T MAKE ME INSTANTLY GAIN 46382946 POUNDS.
THEY ARE YUMMY AND ENJOYABLE AND MAKE ME HAPPY THEREFORE I SHALL EAT THEM.
