Okay but imagine Levi’s thought process while he just stood there, watching Historia have a mild panic attack as she tried so hard to work up the courage to do whatever the hell it was that she had planned, while the rest of his squad stood ramrod still with looks of mischief on their faces. Then hearing Historia let out a legit battle cry before running towards him just to punch him in the arm one good time.

Like, when I sit back and think about it, his little chuckle was perfect because that whole situation was probably hilarious to him. She gave it her all and he didn’t even flinch. Hell, he could have easily dodged her, but he just turned and let her deck him because he knew he deserved it, and that it took balls to do in the first place.

Levi having a little 4'11 teenage girl actually punch him for being an ass to her while waving her status in his face as protection is probably the most casual and funny thing he’s had happen to him in a very long time. Most people treat him like a god or a monster, but in that moment his squad treated him like one of their friends instead of their harsh superior and my heartttttt 😭💕
