new toilet theory
So, I’m sure that others have thought of this but I’m pretty sure that unfortunately the next step for Toilet will be going to Cobs.
We already know that Toilet was hired by and has spoken to A.D.A.M. (aka Cobs’s robot thing which he seems to directly control unbeknownst to Toilet) throughout season two which is incredibly concerning to me re: the wire that was implanted into Mephone4 on Toilet’s recommendation (perhaps a suggestion from A.D.A.M.?) but now that Mephone sent Toilet away without explaining himself, it seems logical that Toilet would try to get to the bottom of what made Mephone so angry with him.
I mean, think about it: Toilet mentioned A.D.A.M. offhand which made Mephone furious as he suddenly realized Cobs’s scheme and assumed Toilet was in on it which makes sense to the audience, having just seen his memory flashback but, to Toilet, this is completely inexplicable since he’s presumably only met Cobs once which we saw earlier in the season.
So, since the last thing Mephone mentioned to Toilet before sending him away was Cobs, it makes sense to me that Toilet would go to Cobs to attempt to understand and perhaps with the intention of fixing things with Mephone.... BUT OF COURSE, Cobs being the master manipulator that he is, I’m sure he’ll lie and convert Toilet to his side, at least temporarily.
My bigger theory in all of this is that Toilet will eventually, at the climax of the series, betray Cobs to save Mephone much like Mephone4s did in season one but obviously under different circumstances and hopefully in a way that will stop Cobs once and for all.
So yeah, that’s my new and improved theory based on ii13. The new ep cannot come soon enough!
