He chuckled a bit and shook his head. “Its not as hard as I made it seem. I’m just a bit clumsy.” He shrugged his shoulder a bit before flipping his hair back. He could see the frustration, and he was actually enjoying it a bit. He wasn’t sure why, but he was.

"Well how much would you want?" He inquired, head tilting lightly to the side.

"A lot," the merchant said with a playful smile. "No, seriously, just give me a reasonable price. It can't be that hard, can it?" Yue was weary of the stranger's cleverness and she was curious to hear what they had to offer. She was also afraid she'd scare them away if she made the price too high, so this seemed like the most careful yet smart decision to take.

For a few moments, the earthmate tilts her head, watching the merchant’s face as she blushed bashfully. The first part— Frey wasn’t quite sure where she came from, but that part sounded right— perhaps, but she couldn’t help but feel the corners of her mouth rise.

”Not related to the king, no,” she replies, “I do know of one of his sons, however." Frey stops herself before she speaks more on that topic, waving it off. “So really, I’m not in that much of a position. Just… Frey is fine~”

When Yue speaks once again, returning to the earlier train of conversation, Frey nods as the merchant spoke. “It’s really cool getting to meet new people… I especially enjoy leaving Norad, to see the other continents, but truthfully that’s a rare occurrence.”

A huge wave of relief washed over Yue as the princess look amused rather than what Yue expected, annoyed, or forcing a weak smile. "Whew, okay. I didn't want to be disrespecting you or anything like that," the merchant said in an assured manner. Frey sparked Yue's curiousity mentioning that she did in fact know one of the king's sons, but the raven-haired woman was sharp enough to tell that she was hesitating and not keen to expand on the subject. "Great! I have to admit, calling people like 'Your Highness' or 'Princess' has always been pretty weird to me, heheh."

"So... your marzipan!" Yue snapped her fingers. "It is the reason I came here so I should give it to you right away." The merchant had spoke quickly and slid her rucksack off her back, it dropped to the ground rather softly with a thud. She zipped the bag open, but she hesitated and looked at Frey instead. "How much packs do you want? They are about this big," the woman extended her arms and had a narrow gap between her hands. "I don't have much bigger packs because... y'know, space."

"That sure sounds like you kyle." Cecilia laughed, "I like flowy garments, that are easy to clean, myself. When cleaning you usually get covered in whatever your cleaning." She scooted her chair closer to the table, and turned her attention back to Yue, "Your turn~"

The merchant laughed, too. "I should've expected that answer, Cecilia," she remarked, beaming at the other girl. "Er... I like clothing with a unique and elegant design," the woman said a little shyly, though she wasn't quite sure why she got so bashful.

"Ok, question number three!" Yue exclaimed with a big grin. "Favorite type of genre?"

"I’ve ‘suffered’ this huge hammer for a week or two now, so I’m sure that I can hold on until I adjust to the size." Julius replied and looked her over. "And if you happen to be so experienced, why not have me pay for some lessons with you then?"

This customer was being much more difficult than Yue had expected. The raven-haired merchant bit her lip in frustration, she was almost glaring, but her bitter expression didn't last more than a couple of seconds before she was back to normal. "Well, it's better to get a small hammer either way," she replied with a smile. "Pushing yourself too hard is unhealthy."

"Wha-- I'm not a teacher, I'm a merchant!" Yue replied sharply, her smile was gone and was replaced with a puzzled look. The merchant was not skilled at explaining things in the first place and she didn't know how someone could pay for lessons on picking up a hammer. But she had to be sure about what the reward could be. "Hm, well, I might consider it depending on the price you give."

At Yue’s exclamation of surprise, the princess tilts her head, before giving a little laugh. “Ah, hadn’t I said…? Sorry, sorry,” she says, her voice blithe as she gives the apology. Frey rubs at the back of her head, mussing up a few strands of hair, as she listens to the merchant’s next words.

”Something like that, actually!”—  Technically, she was a princess because of a mistake, but that wasn’t supposed to be common knowledge, so she merely went with the Earthmate shtick.

At the mention of helping and monsters, the princess visibly perks up a little bit, and gives a huff of happy laughter. “Sometimes the two things coincide," Frey replies, before turning her head up to look at the roof. 

”Definitely fun! Couldn’t imagine going without the two— especially the adventures, y’know. It’s really cool going out and doing things like that…”

"So you must come from a royal Earthmate family kind of thing? Wait, are you one of the king's daughters?" Yue did not knon much about the Kingdom of Norad in the first place (she didn’t even know whether the royal family had a princess... she only heard of princes) but what she did know was that the royal family were regarded special, and extremely important. Talking to someone with such ranking so casually, Yue couldn't help but feel small and embarassed. Her thick eyelashes flitted bashfully before Yue continued. "I-If that's the case, and I know that you don't really being called a princess and all that, but I didn't acknowledge that you had such a huuge position at first..." she rubbed her head awkwardly. "Sorry."

Yue nodded cheerfully at the princess's statement. "I have to agree! I could've just made a shop in Alvarna or something, but having a change of scenery is really nice!"

Klaus sighed and moved to get his waist coat from his wardrobe. He had hardly committed a crime, he hadn’t even sold the damned perfume yet. Perhaps she just liked to cause trouble.

Being offered cake made her feel like a child, but she was tired of arguing. "Fine," she said unwillingly. Her blue eyes followed his movements as the merchant leaned against the wall. She waited patiently, also using the chance to observe his room more closely. Yue didn't really acknowledge before that she was in his room, and now that she did, she didn't really feel scared or embarassed. Actually, she felt a little hollow, wondering if it was because she was disappointed that his room didn't look as elegant as she expected.

Yue couldn’t imagine just listening to some sticks hitting some drum being pleasant to the ears, but Kyle was Kyle. "Oh, the harp sounds very pretty!" The merchant had a glimmer of hope for Kyle's music taste now. Cecilia finally came back to the table, Yue welcomed her with a big grin and waved her hand at her. "I guess so! He says he likes drums and harps, except the two are kind of the opposite... whatever, I got my answer!" Yue shrugged, but grimaced after realising she hadn't told them about her own opinion. "I didn't tell you guys about my favorite music, woops. Um, I like traditional Eastern music, y'know, like the koto and shamisen. Now that we know about that, next question! Favorite type of clothing?"

"La la la~" Pia skipped and bounced down the hallway of the inn, quick to reach the room that, more often than not, housed Yue. Peeking in, she was all too excited to see her there today. "Hey-ho, Yue! I'm looking for some SUPER special chocolate! Karina ran out. I think. She was making z's so I attempted a rough translation. Do ya have any, today?"

"Yep, you’ve came at the right time and place!" (Yue snapped her fingers and winked.) “One delicious special chocolate coming right up!” (She seached through her items and took out a rose-colored box with “chocolate” inscribed onto it in cursive. It also had a red silk ribbon wrapped around it.) 

"1200G! It contains caramel, too. Very sweet for a loved one." (She held out the box, smiling. The mermaid’s lover was going to certainly be a lucky person.)

"Well, you’re supposed to give chocolates to someone ya love a whooooole lot, righto?" Pia’s smile grew wider as she rummaged through her cloak for her purse. "What better than to give it to the fishies? After all, they kept me company for so many years!"

Pulling out her purse, Pia opened it quickly and rummaged through it, setting gold down on the table as she counted it. “Besides, I don’t have enough money to give it to all of the people in Sharance. But I can’t give it to just one person, right?! That would be unfair!”

"Mhm... you're right. But they're fish, they can't eat the same things ad us. They might even get sick! You don't want your "fishie" friends to get sick, do you?" (The merchant nodded seriously.) "Plus, fish really love this fish feed. Once their fish... um, mouths gets on this stuff, they'll certainly be grateful. So, what do you say?"

"Awesomesauce!" Pia grinned eagerly as she inspected the box carefully. "But the fishies can’t eat the box. It’ll just make the water angry."

Apparently, Pia planned on throwing the chocolate into the pond outside the inn. Giving a bubbly smile, she added, “Imagine a tsunami in the pond. It’d be like SPLASH! FIZZLE! And then there’d be no pond left. The water might even reach Collette!”

(Fishies? Okay, forget about the lover idea. The merchant was extremely puzzled, but continued to act casual. ) "O-oh, you're feeding fish then? I do have some fish feed..." (She nodded along slowly to what the stranger was saying, not knowing whether to run as far as she could or stay and continue to act casual. She was starting to really consider the first choice.)

"Yue I have a gift for you, happy valentines day. I hope you can take the time to stay well on your journeys" Ray placed a jar of herbal teas in her hand.

"Oh, thanks, Ray! That's very sweet of you," Yue smiled and took the jar. "I feel bad that I didn't prepare anything for you... wait, I know! I have some things from my shop for Valentine's Day, but I don't mind giving one to you," the merchant grabs her bag and takes out a box of chocolates. "It's a little romantic and silly, but I hope you like it!"

Amber looked around the whole room, before placing a jar full of honey by the desk. It was Valentines, so why not show gratitude by giving honey? After all, all the people here were nice and, wait for it. . . sweet.

"Honey?" (Strange things were sure happening today.) "Uh…" (She picks it up and looks for a note. There’s none.) "Oh well, I guess I’ll just sell it."
