They've finally made it! Manju's ship pulls into the dock first, and it seems they've been traveling a while - the crew visibly tired and happy to be in an inhabited area! Jagae's ship docks soon after, getting settled in faster enough that the ships are properly docked at around the same time!

He nods, smiling, and resumes serving customers! Both merchants are making quite the degree of income right now...

And the merchants are still here! It seems they were more than prepared for how busy they'd be, as there's practically a line of crewmembers from each stall to its respective ship to transport goods between locations!

“Will you be needing a place to stay for the night you two?”

"The crews will!" "We've got our quarters in the ships, and we prefer sleeping on open waters. But our crews would likely appreciate the option to stay on land somewhere?"

“There’s a good inn here! For whenever foreigners come around, it’s right in town near the docks.”

"Wonderful! We should close up the stalls soon, then, so our crews can take some time to explore and relax!" Manju smiles quite amicably as he speaks

“Of course, I should leave you to it.. if you or your crew ever need any help getting around don’t be afraid to ask anyone here!”

Both merchants nod, "Of course!" "Thank you for your hospitality!"

“It’s no problem, you can stay as long as you need, there’s place to buy maps just down the road if you need any”

Another nod from both! "The cartographers that sold us ours had the continent all wrong! Like, completely!"

“How wrong exactly?”

She pulls out her map. Yeah, that map is wrong. Very very wrong. "The cartographer that made it added more land than there was! A lot more!" She sounds angry at whoever made it.

He looks at the map and stares in disbelief. “… yeah that’s bad. I know we wouldn’t probably be on any maps but beast yeast has so many land masses that… aren’t even there.”

Jagae nods, "I am SO giving her a piece of my mind when we get back! Not a professional if she can't even get the general shape hardly right!"

“We got better maps here, mostly in the beast yeast area but when cookies do come they help update our maps as well”

"Luckily, both of our maps are pretty accurate for elsewhere!" Manju moves to stretch with a yawn, before gesturing for his crew to start packing up the stall, adding "And we've got the maps we ourselves made throughout our travels" as he walks over

“So beast yeast will be a perfect map to round out yours, though there aren’t any active docks there anymore it’ll still be best to have one”

"This is technically still part of the continent, my friend, which makes one active dock. You can be sure to see us again, as well! Many valuable items can be traded between here and the rest of Earthbread!" Honeyed lies, or sweet truths? Only time will tell, with this one...

The civilians curiously greeted them at the dock, it’s been a long while since any kind of ship has made its way to the isles and they had a lot to sell! Ceylon Cinnamon eventually catches wind of it as well… well guess he has a job to do now: make sure no one starts stealing stuff while visitors are here.

And they're pretty efficient at setting up, already well settled back into their bitter rivals schtick! Though, rather more playfully than usual, as they're both a bit tired after the recent encounter.

Ceylon Cinnamon came around to look at the wares, and to maybe show them around if need be.

“Good afternoon you two”

"Good afternoon, sir!" Manju calls out first, "Is there anything in particular you're looking to buy?" Yep, definitely a merchant looking to impress.

Jagae, on the other hand, offers a nod and a big smile, very clearly a bit distracted. By what, however, is unclear...

“No nothing to much in particular, it’s been a long while since anyone has come here. Im curious of what you have in store!”

"We got a tip that this place was here! Unfortunately, the mangy furball just had to follow!"

She's clearly teasing the fox, who fires back with a "Now, now, my crew set down anchors first, Jagae! So who really followed who, hm?"

Friendly rivalry.. clearly he can see the two had no actual hatred for each other.. which was always a concern for any new cookie arriving.

“I’m sure both of your travels have been smooth on the way here?” He asks as someone was very much wanting to take the new stuff coming in.

"Smooth enough, aside from an encounter when we stopped to reassess our maps. One of your neighbors is quite rude to newcomers!"

"They screamed at us like we'd trampled an old lady's flower garden!"

"... Jagae, I'm sure we don't need to elaborate."

Something is watching the someone from below...

“… the closest area in the mainland is the Land of Silence.. everyone there is dead and are tormented souls. I do not know who would still be alive over there other than the Beast that crumbled every living thing there”

The thief goes to grab something..

"He seemed more like a defensive cat to me," Manju comments, "but I suppose you'd have a better read on him."

Something lunges from the water, and the thief finds themselves tackled to the docks by a hissing and angry... fish???... that's not a fish. Both merchants look over at the sound, but neither seems particularly surprised.

“What did he look like-“ there was then a scream coming from the thief… what the fuck was that?! He goes over to, most likely attack it… which yeah, yeah that’s to be expected I don’t think any of these cookies had seen a gem mermaid before.

She's got the Cookie in her claws and has chomped down on the hand that had attempted to steal with an almost feral growl. A trident is summoned in hand, and Pearl points the tribladed tip at Ceylon in a clearly threatening way as he approaches...

Jagae is moving over as well, though the fish is not threatening her like she is Ceylon...

He did not get that far when the trident was pointed at him! And he kind of, stares at both the thief and the mermaid as he tries to figure out what the hell was happening.

"What were they trying to steal, Pearl?" Oh. Seems the merchants know this mermaid.

Pearl still has her jaws locked on the thief's hand and growls again, staring Ceylon down.

Jagae walks up next to the pair and squats down next to them to look at the thief!

Seems like the thief is, obviously terrified! To be expected I mean, who wouldn’t be after being tackled by a creature you’ve never seen before! Ceylon Cinnamon soon realizes the situation, thankfully, and glares at the thief.

The thief gets poked by the sea bunny, who asks "Are you gonna try that again, kiddo?"

Pearl seems to have realized Ceylon is not currently a threat and refocuses her attention on the attempted thief. Grrr.

Manju is still just watching everyone from his stall. Yay.

“No I won’t I’m sorry I won’t do it again?!” The thief yelps, Ceylon Cinnamon looked unimpressed.

“I’ll deal with them, I’m sorry you had a thief bother you merely minutes upon docking.”

Manju laughs as Pearl lets go of the thief. "Happens every time we dock somewhere new, don't you worry! Happens less since we got our girlfriend, of course~"

Pearl hisses at the thief again. She wants to drag them into the depths with her...

Jagae nods in agreement to Manju's words. "Next one to try and steal from us here won't be so lucky!"

Ceylon Cinnamon grabs the thief. “I’ll be back, just need to deal with this idiot first, please do enjoy yourselves here in the meantime! There’s plenty of shops here for you to get stuff as well”

Both merchants nod, Jagae helping Pearl back to the water. "We thank you for your kindness, sir! And we hope to see you again soon!"

With that Ceylon Cinnamon leaves with the thief! … there was someone else watching though… who was trying to figure out how to go in without immediately terrorizing everyone.

Both merchants look like they'll be sticking around for a while, settling back into the friendly rivalry they were doing once Pearl is back in the water and able to resume her lurking. Lots of products for sale, and from so many places around Earthbread!

Their place was very popular! And there’s stuff from the isles is being traded for what they got! Most being stuff you wouldn’t even be able to get outside the isles! Eventually another cookie shows up, covered up and hiding his face..

“Good day you two.” The cookie greeted them,

They both give the Cookie a friendly nod, "Good day, sir!" "Got your eye on anything here?"

The very mysterious and definitely not suspicious cookie looked through the wares, he had some masks to trade it seems!

“Do you have any Amethyst jewelry?”

"No, but I do have amethyst crystals?"

"We have some! Are you looking for necklaces, bracelets, or rings?"

“I’m curious, what options do you have for your rings?” The definitely not ominous cookie moves to that stall to take a look at the options.

"We got all kinds!" Jagae moves to pull more styles of ring from behind the stall, adding "But we can also take custom orders if you're ok with waiting a few months and paying a bit extra?"

He shows a few of the masks he has on hand, artifacts from what either of them can tell, and in very good condition!

“No need for customs, just a ring like this is all!” He was eying a nice looking ring out of the options available.

She nods, looking more closely at the masks. "Say, what are these? Where'd ya get 'em?"

“These are some masks from back before the isles formed a government outside of monarchy! It’s said back when the isles was ruled by a king, he created several of these enchanted masks to protect the wearers.. unfortunately most were either destroyed or lost, but some still remain which include these ones”

"Neat! I'll give you any ring you want for two of 'em?"

“Of course, two masks for this ring right here!” He slides over two of the masks

She takes both, pocketing them immediately, and hands over the ring. "Pleasure doing business! Feel free to look around for more items you like!"

“Thank you very much!” He then goes to look at Manju’e wares, he wanted to get one more thing before leaving…

Manju mostly has a lot of different teas and seeds, as well as several different collections of crystals - both carved and raw, and some still in clusters! "Anything catch your eye, sir?"

He could carve some of these crystals… his eyes soon drifted to some beautiful deep blue ones..

“How much for those?”

"Ah, yes," Manju nods, "a good pick! I'll take the equivalent of 1000 coins? I am, of course, open to haggling!"

He gets his remaining mask and a bit of raw gold. “How much more would be an equivalent?”

He thinks a moment, then nods, ear twitching. "If the masks really are that rare, than this should be equivalent enough!"

He nods and slides the mask over!

Seems like the thief is, obviously terrified! To be expected I mean, who wouldn’t be after being tackled by a creature you’ve never seen before! Ceylon Cinnamon soon realizes the situation, thankfully, and glares at the thief.

The thief gets poked by the sea bunny, who asks "Are you gonna try that again, kiddo?"

Pearl seems to have realized Ceylon is not currently a threat and refocuses her attention on the attempted thief. Grrr.

The very mysterious and definitely not suspicious cookie looked through the wares, he had some masks to trade it seems!

“Do you have any Amethyst jewelry?”

"No, but I do have amethyst crystals?"

"We have some! Are you looking for necklaces, bracelets, or rings?"

“I’m curious, what options do you have for your rings?” The definitely not ominous cookie moves to that stall to take a look at the options.

"We got all kinds!" Jagae moves to pull more styles of ring from behind the stall, adding "But we can also take custom orders if you're ok with waiting a few months and paying a bit extra?"

He shows a few of the masks he has on hand, artifacts from what either of them can tell, and in very good condition!

“No need for customs, just a ring like this is all!” He was eying a nice looking ring out of the options available.

She nods, looking more closely at the masks. "Say, what are these? Where'd ya get 'em?"

“These are some masks from back before the isles formed a government outside of monarchy! It’s said back when the isles was ruled by a king, he created several of these enchanted masks to protect the wearers.. unfortunately most were either destroyed or lost, but some still remain which include these ones”

"Neat! I'll give you any ring you want for two of 'em?"

“Of course, two masks for this ring right here!” He slides over two of the masks

She takes both, pocketing them immediately, and hands over the ring. "Pleasure doing business! Feel free to look around for more items you like!"

“Thank you very much!” He then goes to look at Manju’e wares, he wanted to get one more thing before leaving…

Manju mostly has a lot of different teas and seeds, as well as several different collections of crystals - both carved and raw, and some still in clusters! "Anything catch your eye, sir?"

He could carve some of these crystals… his eyes soon drifted to some beautiful deep blue ones..

“How much for those?”

"Ah, yes," Manju nods, "a good pick! I'll take the equivalent of 1000 coins? I am, of course, open to haggling!"

He gets his remaining mask and a bit of raw gold. “How much more would be an equivalent?”

He thinks a moment, then nods, ear twitching. "If the masks really are that rare, than this should be equivalent enough!"

Oh so NOW after they are chased off of beast yeast is when they actually find the Crystalized Cinnamon Isles! The cookies on the island take notice of the two ships coming towards the dock!

They've finally made it! Manju's ship pulls into the dock first, and it seems they've been traveling a while - the crew visibly tired and happy to be in an inhabited area! Jagae's ship docks soon after, getting settled in faster enough that the ships are properly docked at around the same time!

The civilians curiously greeted them at the dock, it’s been a long while since any kind of ship has made its way to the isles and they had a lot to sell! Ceylon Cinnamon eventually catches wind of it as well… well guess he has a job to do now: make sure no one starts stealing stuff while visitors are here.

And they're pretty efficient at setting up, already well settled back into their bitter rivals schtick! Though, rather more playfully than usual, as they're both a bit tired after the recent encounter.

“What did he look like-“ there was then a scream coming from the thief… what the fuck was that?! He goes over to, most likely attack it… which yeah, yeah that’s to be expected I don’t think any of these cookies had seen a gem mermaid before.
