all final fantasy X based in
THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY Here we have a Guado who is STILL being prejudiced against Seymour even AFTER his death. Now, it was indeed Seymour who destroyed the Guado. His actions cannot be justified by the pain and isolation that his fellow Guado made him feel when he was a child. However, the problem here is that they did indeed cause him a tremendous amount of pain and so much else. It was perfectly reasonable for Seymour to have felt the awful way he did (again, it does not justify acting on those feelings to the extremes that he did). This dear Guado villager really has not learned a thing. They’d be prepared to bring pain to another Guado/Human mixed race child. Seymour’s actions had nothing to do with his race (though of course, his actions were fuelled by the pain resulting from the way that he was treated because of his race- by Guados like this one).
Feel my pain! Come, Anima!
Seymour is the embodiment of Spira’s tragedy. A half-breed of human and Guado, he suffered persecution since early childhood solely on the grounds of his lineage. Because he was born, his existence itself was considered a crime. His father, who should have protected him, put the emphasis on his position as leader of the clan and so he abandoned Seymour and his mother. The mother and the son were sent away to Baaj temple, a place reduced to uninhabited ruins. Isolated from others at an early age and forced to live a miserable life, Seymour’s despair and resentment is easy to imagine. However, his real tragedy reached its height soon after. When Seymour was 10-years-old, his mother, in an effort to become the fayth of her son’s final summoning, gave up her life right before Seymour’s eyes. Aware that her days were numbered, she at least wanted to be helpful to her son, if only in spirit. To her, it was the expression of a mother’s love, but from Seymour’s perspective it cost him his only emotional support. This sense of loss and unparalleled despair led to his plan to “grant death to all of Spira.” (x)

Wakka: But...Machina is BAD right?!
Seymour: Pretend you didn't see them
Wakka: Beg your pardon, but that's not something a maester should say!
Seymour: Then pretend I didn't say it.
Very well. I will give you your death. You seem to want it so.
