Hi there, I speak in name of @wizardcon, this is a convention that it will take place in Spain in July 2014, today they confirmed that Eoin and Alexander Vlahos are going to the guests from Merlin and they asked me to spread the word into the fandom, so if it wouldn't bother you too much we will appreciate if you could do a post about it in case some of your followers want to go or something. gwainefest is proud to host its first event: The Gwaine Bang!  It’s a combination mini/big bang where fic and all kinds of art are welcome!

What is a bang? It’s a compressed time period in which author and artists collaborate together to create an illustrated fanfic. By our standards, a mini bang is a minimum of 5K words, and a big bang has 15K.  This is significantly smaller than most big bangs, but for now we’re just trying things out for size.
