hello i was watching everyone posting here for a while and i wanted to post too soo heres my drawing bout sullitoro

I was lockin in while making this drawing and im REALLY proud of it. I need to improve more bout the clothes and the HANDS but nvm, idc bcuz im happy w the results. Tried my best.

Honeatly considering how fandoms are im suprised i havent seen 1 single person going insane over Bardle. The tlkoe comunity is quite chill actually, thats nice :]

I'm not a bardle fan per se but i do wish more people depicted his less than benevolent side in fan media. Like no he is not Jack's dad he literally forced that kid to get a permanent skin graph on his hand with no prior consent or knowledge. That is abuse whether you'd like to acknowledge it or not and the fact that Jack still cares about him and sees him as this martyr who did no wrong is heartbreaking to me. @comicartist13 @dendydaisy @yippee-optimistically I love atting people who know what im talking about!

That too. I love thinking about it because on one hand : Monsters feel VERY different than humans. Bardle said it himself, most are warriors. I even mentioned it in a past blog of im not wrong about Warg.

Cuz like on one hand that was like the most insane "check this one out" i've seen in awhile. Considering the things that happened WITH the cosmic hand.

But on the other like, im so curious is did Bardle know from the beginning? After his death that he passes the tails powers to it, im pretty sure he did have a slight idea(?), but from the start with the hand. Was it just him going "you need to hold your bat because it gets extremely hot? Dont worry i got you" and proceeds to accidentally cayse a butterfly affect beyond belief, or did he genuinely know and it was just a excuse? Because im pretty sure it wasnt out of malicious intent, more deciding that for defeating Rezzoch, its worth it(which is lowkeg more screwed up). Unfortunately i do not have access to my books at the moment so i cant even check if im embarassing myself right now.

It would be nice to see Jack register that what Bardle did was fucked up, esprcially without fully telling him beforehand.

I really wish we had a bit more to see of the monsters relitianship with the kids, especially Bardles. Because they dont really "love". Atleast not most of them. If Bardle was still alive it wouldve been nice to see a arch of him understanding Warg more and more with the passing time. Or even fter book 10.

Oh god this is turning into a huge rant okay im stopping 🧍‍♂️

Ok so im sorry for not responding to this earlier but I'm pretty sure at the end of book 5 Bardle apologizes for everything that will happen to Jack now that he has the cosmic hand. Which kind of implies that Bardle knew that something would happen to Jack as a consequence of Bardle's actions.

"It would be nice to see Jack register that what Bardle did was fucked up, esprcially without fully telling him beforehand."-- THIS! This would be so cool for someone to explore and all I've seen so far is happy father son bonding.

Also since you mentioned Warg, I do wish her and Jack or her and Dirk's relationships had been talked about more. She was basically the only monster to mourn Bardle and the only one Jack could relate to during the grieving process. She, unlike other monsters, seems to actually care about relationships and feels more deeply than the rest of them. And Jack pointed out once in book 5 that she reminds him that its ok and even good to be different than the majority, which is a sentiment that he really needs after his upbringing.

Also i do not mind AT all that you rant was long mine are too twinamon roll.

Simon takes one bite and not only is it the most increadable thing he had ever tasted in his entire life, but it’s so good all his cannibalistic urges just Vanish.

Simon never feels those horrible cravings again. He also just so happens to enjoys a me-burger basically every other day.

Grace can never bring himself to tell Simon where the meat comes from.
