YLVIS FAMILY CHRISTMAS CARD EXCHANGE 2018
Hello, Ylvis people of the world! As some of you may remember, there was an activity called “Ylvis Family Christmas” held in 2015 and 2016. Unfortunately, the two blogs organizing it seem no longer active, but I thought it would be fun to bring part of this tradition back.
There is one change for this year though – to make things more exciting, you won’t know who your “secret Santa” is until you receive your card.
The rules are simple: If you want to participate, send me your postal address (more info below) together with the number of cards you would like to send and therefore receive as well. You will then be randomly assigned your secret Santas as well as receive the names and addresses of people you should mail your card(s) to.
To participate, you can DM me here or on Facebook (this will also be posted in the group “Ylvis Official Group”). You know how Tumblr notification system is sometimes, so if I don’t reply within 24 hours, please try again. THE DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 25. In your message, please include the following:
1. How many cards you would like to exchange.
2. Your postal address.
Tip! If you don’t feel comfortable sharing your home address, having it delivered as “poste restante” should work in most countries.
3. Special wishes if you have any – e.g., sending the card only within a specific country/continent because of cheaper postage rates.
Please make sure to write your address as clearly as possible – it might be difficult for both the sender and their local post office to get their heads around international addresses :)
